The first free-to-play game on BFG was released 11 months ago.  I remember how just about everybody in CCC turned their nose up at the very thought of such a game.  Predictions were that they would never catch on at BFG, certainly never enough to make the Top 100 downloads list.

Two months later, a free-to-play game made by Elephant Games was released and not only made the Top 100 list, it made it to #4.

Since then, 2 free-to-play games have made #1: Farm Up, and Big Fish Casino.

Right now, the following free-to-play games are on the top 100:

#2 - My Singing Monsters
#3 - Big Fish Casino
#9 - Farm Up
#10 - Found: A Hidden Object Adventure
#11 - Dark Manor

I tried all of the above but I found them mostly boring. Dark Manor I found confusing and boring.

Any time other than that is great!

I'm really looking forward to this!  I've never participated in a group play before.

Hi, everybody.
I'm in Vermont this week, it's supposed to get down to 26 tonight!  Heading to the coast, and it's supposed to be nice all week, even the 10 day forcast, well, nice in them parts is low 70s.

I've been trying to play Treasure Seekers Visions of Gold.  I am so totally bored with it.   I think this is the third and most recent in the series, but still rather old.  It's the circle kind, but it's really hard to even find the circle.  I was going to Dex it, but decided I would do one room a day.  Each room has 4 or 5 circles.  I'm hinting my way through.  Usually I like circle games, but not this one.  I didn't really care for the others in the series either, but they were bright and shiny way back when they came out.  It's kinda neat to play an old game, even if it sucks

Hey, Wendy!!

I hope you weren't at that CT carnival where people died on a ride.

Congratulations on picking up the old games and trying to finish them.  You are a bright shiny example of a Finisher.  A role model even.....

I'm getting a little annoyed with Death and his daughter because they mostly stand around and tell me what I need to do to help them. (Wild Hunt).  How about a litlle help here....?

There are some amusing animations of a gauntlet (armoured glove) skittering about on its fingertips to gather pieces of Death's scythe.

I'm on the last part of the game now, I think, and I can tell you with authority that you will not need to buy the CE of this game for the Strategy Guide. The hints are great and very specific.

Hi, stusue!
What's next for me?......well mostly I've been reading.  The Dresden Files series...I'm on the last available book (14?  15?) now and I'm scared to finish it cause there won't be anymore until he finishes writing the next one...maybe out in December....

I'm also trying to finish the Wild Hunt game.  Its pretty long and I like it (about 2/3rds done now).  And, I've indulged deeply of alot of M3 games....new and old. Like Lost in Reefs and Farmscapes and Lost in Night and Snow and etc.

OK, back to Dresden.....slowly.....not reading very fast....make it last......

I just finished a game !!!!!

Jane Austen's: Estate of Affairs.  Its a modest little game and I bought it in the recent half price sale.  I did kinda like it but honestly, mostly for the very nice voice over actress.

Also, I'm a card carrying Jane freek/geek.

Yeah the main issue with Nancy Drew games is that the puzzles can't be skipped. Some of the games are super hard. The games themselves are still super fun to play for me.

Just as a suggestion - if you haven't played Warnings at Waverly Academy....I find that this game is a good starting point for someone new to playing ND games. If I remember right, the puzzles aren't overly difficult in this one. It kind of gives a good introduction to the series I think - even though it is from the middle of the series.

Yes, its mostly the puzzles.....non-skip that get me.  I play other straight point and clicks with non-skip puzzles like the Blackwell stories, for instance, but ND games get me stumped every time.
