wendy -- that sounds great!  I have a set of exercises that i do for my back.  I used to say I'd do them 5 times a week.  Well.....the "off" days would slide and pretty soon i wasn't doing them much at all.  So i decided I'd do them every day.  I really do (about 99% of the time).  I will skip the occasional day.  But every day seems to work better for me.

oscar -- Any exercise is better than no exercise.  Even parking farther away from the store entrance and walking, taking stairs (well one or two flights!   let's not get too carried away!) vacuuming, it all counts.

i haven't been very diligent today.  But I'm down 2 lbs.  and my exciting news is I have a job interview on Tuesday! Lol I'm probably going to have to go out and buy something to wear.
