I can’t seem to find anywhere on this to set up albums. I have no desire to post my pictures on this site publicly.
Oscar, are you talking about imgur. After you set up an account, there is a drop down menu when you click on your account name. If you choose settings, you can make everything hidden instead of public. In the drop down menu, there are choices for images, albums and some other stuff. Whenever you set up an album, it will also give you a choice to make anything you want hidden. I have lots of albums and the only trouble I have had is when I need to submit SS in numerical or alphabetical order, the coding gives me no clue.

Oscar,
I presently use imgur.com since Photobucket no longer allows 3rd party hosting unless you want to pay a hefty charge. A forum I belong to has been greatly affected by this as we post SS of challenges completed and we've all had to find other places. I think there is also imageshack.com, tinypic.com and there may be others.

Tee, I'm going to the Stitching Guild's first meeting of the year today to see what they are all about.
That's great ~ I know they have Needlepoint ones and I guess Cross Stitching/Embroidery ones but never have been to one.

Great news on the Irma front. Tirama. Other friends of mine on the West coast are reporting pretty good news, also ~ mainly tree issues.
I know I should have posted in the other thread but thanks for all your good wishes. We got bad news on Friday at the Palliative meeting but my son's ex-wife got information about a man who had an almost identical diagnosis to Brent's and he took part in a clinical trial and is now cured. We are trying to get more information but he lives in Florida so are waiting for a response to a text sent.

Tirama, praying for your safety and was just wondering how your sweet baby will handle all this.
Stusue, sounds like you had a great trip and hope you take it easy now that you are back home. Rest up, play a few games and the cleaning and unpacking will be there until you feel better.
Sorry I have been a no show for most of this year. Really haven't played any games so nothing to report on that front.
I am asking for group prayers for my son, Brent. Don't know if I mentioned him in the past but he has been living with me since 2 days before my mother passed. He has had life time issues with two addictions/alcohol and smoking. Without going into all the details, I'm proud of him that he has been sober for a year as of Aug. 15. He was, however, diagnosed with oral cancer last November and underwent chemo and radiation the first 3 months of the year. The chance of getting this type of cancer is 100% with both of his addictions but it is also very treatable/curable. However, the second addiction appears to be harder to quit than the first. He has cut way back but I've been very vocal about how he continues to feed the cancer. He's 46 so I can't make him do any thing but I can only pray. After numerous biopsies which came back negative, the last one they took six pieces and two of them showed cancer cells. He has had numerous PET scans and it appears now that cancer is showing up in his lungs and bone so has gone from a stage 2 to stage 4. He has been on feeding tube and because of radiation is unable to eat much so has lost lots of weight. He has continued to work just enough to pay for his insurance but will try to file for disability as he most likely will not be able to in the future. Being a caretaker these last 7 years has been rough but God continues to keep me strong. My cross stitching also helps to keep me sane as I can't dwell on everything while I am stitching.

I'm so very sorry, Fudge ~ may you find peace and strength as you go through this difficult time.

Thank you everyone. And I understand what you're saying Tee, and I don't know how you felt writing that but I am surprised it's been 3 years.
It'll be Sept. for my Dad and Nov. for my mom. I think about them a lot esp my mom since I'm cross stitching so much these days and she loved doing it. I have 4 of her Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum angels on my walls. I feel like they are there occasionally and it's strange but the nights they both died, I felt a light move of the blanket so felt it was them telling me goodbye.

May he rest in peace, Oscar. It's so hard to watch the slow decline by dementia and Alzheimer's but as we are there with them through the journey, at the end we are at peace. When my mom and dad left almost 3 years ago, I was also relieved they were no longer suffering and together forever.

I just finished The Last Dream (must be the last person here to play it). What a great game!
So far, I've finished 6 games this month. Had hoped to be doing better, but those 2 Ravenhearst games bogged me down. so happy I got them finished before the next MCF game gets released either tomorrow or Saturday.
Surely you jest about The Last Dream as I definitely haven't but you were correct on your MCF prediction as there is a Super Sale today ~ good call, Tirama!
