I've bought WAY more games from BFG than I'll ever play (over 500) so, I'm thinking I'm a sick-o hoarder.
And the only reason its not as big of a problem as many hoarders is that they stay on their virtual shelves and they aren't as obvious as if they were all lying about the house....
jkuci, you and I are BFG hoarders for sure; as I mentioned just recently, I have 700+ so the recent happenings at BFG is probably going to be a big help to me in that it cemented my need to cancel FINALLY. I love having them all as that was my intent when I joined in Dec 08 was to build a stock-pile for "retirement" and now that it's here, it's time to PLAY!!
I signed up on 3 additional sites but this will be my primary one for posting since I'm comfortable here. It is nice to see some really familar names on the others and glad they will be there to go to now and again to keep up with stuff. I just made shortcuts on my DT for:
Pond Friends (Timebomb's)
Gaming Friends (gov's)
Challengers-Casual Game Club (not sure whose this is)
Also, wonder how long the Game Forums are going to be down. Sure there are many more disgruntled customers than just CCC members right now. Tirama, you mentioned something about an original posting when the new software was mentioned. Is that available to read or was it in the CCC?

Hi tee, how about suggesting the name of the game since there are lots of Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes games?
That's too bad about the Agatha Christie games ~ I have five of them (including And Then There Were None) and wanted to use some of my PCC's for them and realized you couldn't buy them anymore. On Sherlock Holmes, I started Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Persian Carpet but got sidetracked with something else. Same with Syberia and Return to Mysterious Island. I will definitely need a group play to get through a LFG.
Green Moon would be fine with me. I knew the name sounded familiar ~ they are the same developers of City of Fools. I have a lengthy WT that I printed off along with some others from GameBoomers that I could use. Imagine BF has one also if we need to use them to get unstuck along the way. Try not to use them but hate feeling frustrated.
Tirama, might be interested in the two you mentioned, maybe after a LFG group play, just for a little breather. I have Farmington Tales but not Pickers. Might use one of my PCC's on that one plus looking for other sleepers that I might pick up to use all my PCC's before the 20th when I get charged for my next GCC. I have a few ND, from Amazon and BFG but might pick up some more. Have been reluctant to buy any addt'l LFG since I haven't been able to get very far in the ones I have.
So will welcome any suggestions from you all for your favorite little gems.

I'm not sure what you mean by jettison, tee, BF is still supplying PCer's with a game a day. The numbers do explain why the Big Fish Studio team farmed out the next PC/Mac Mystery Case Files game to Elephant and concentrate their energies on producing games for mobile devices.
That was from the original poster, not me ~ maybe because the CCC was predominately PC users, not mobile gamers.
You know, when I think about it, I was not a big poster in the CCC anymore, just in our thread, but it was the habit of just checking in to see if anything interested me enough to take a look. Now with this forum and a couple others I signed up for, I'm sure I will get that community feeling back shortly. This will make it so much easier to cancel when I use up all my PCC's, not having that overwhelming need to be tied to the site.
barre, I was having so much trouble with the new Game App, unable to access the Purchase History and cosmestic issues, that I'm glad I got the old one back. I just start my game now from the GM but sometimes bypass the GM altogether and start from the .exe file in the folder.

Got this in an email that was apparently posted in the FB Pond Friends group. Interesting!!
Found this on the Vator News, dated 6/2/13:
"At Vator Splash LA on Thursday night, we were honored to have Paul Thelen, CEO of Big Fish Games, take the stage."
<snip>
"By any measure, Big Fish Games has been a success. The Seattle-based company posted $220 million in bookings last year. up 20% from 2011. The company has four million PC users, and six million mobile users...
"Casual games, as we defined it, wasn't growing anymore. That this new thing called social has caught on about three years earlier. That really impacted out growth.
To compete in these new outlets, the company was forced to figure out what it was really good at, and how it could use its larger userbase to capitalize on these growing segments of the gaming space."
<snip>
"We have pivoted and now our revenue, in the last 18 months, has gone mobile," he said. "We were able to take our assets, understand what we were really good at and say, 'we're not a single gross company.'
--------------------
Any wonder why BFG was so willing to jettison their loyal PC customer base?
