Well, I did it ~ I finally cancelled my membership, feels really strange after being a member for almost 5 years but I have so many games, it is ridiculous to keep buying more.  If it was only the one credit a month that would be OK but it's the allure of all the sales.  I spent most of the morning reviewing games to use my PCC's/CSC's on, ended up with 12 new games and 3 hanging chads which most likely will just be left hanging.  Started out with one punch and with it being BPM, just couldn't get it to even out.

I finished Botanica, been playing Imperial Island and decided to start on one of the games I got yesterday.  Anybody ever played The Tale of The Lost Bride and A Hidden Treasure.  I noticed the name when I was looking in the game forum for something else.  Basically it's a HOG with mini games/puzzles. Some called it a "charming kid's game" with a nice music track and PZ had posted two or three times, overall it got more positives than negatives.  It's got teeny tiny items that are difficult to spot at times but you have rechargeable hints (never ran out) and the playing screen is filled with forest greens that hides things too well some time.  You have these three or four forest animals that keep a running commentary of help tips and I will only play it in short bursts as it can get hard on the eyes.  I enjoyed it though and kept thinking about it after I quit so glad I got it.

October 1 should work for me too as the latter date might conflict with an estate sale at my parents' house.  Meeting with an estate sale rep on Wednesday at their house to discuss it and he mentioned October would be the earliest we could have one which is fine with me. Also meeting with a guy that called me out of the blue yesterday regarding whether their house was for sale.  He is a friend of the next door neighbor for years and works at OU so location would be perfect.  Told him I have a potential buyer but will still meet with him, never know when something might not work out.

the Cross Kickers soccer team from the chocolate factory decided to have a sports marathon and invited the Gray Panthers and the Senior Ladies baseball team so they could decide once and for all which of the teams should officially be declared the best team.  But when the teams met to begin the competion, the Cross Kickers were surprised

So sorry you had such a rotten week, Tirama.  It sounds like one of mine!!  Except we sure could use some of that rain.  Poor Colorado ~ they are being hammered.  Hope everyone is safe up there ~ any of our group live in Colorado?  One of my HS friends and his wife called everyone that is on our reunion roster to see if they were ok ~ only one couldn't be reached and he lives in Boulder.

Hi, Dex ~ glad to see you made it here.  Life can be brutal and frustrating at times but when it gets like that, it helps to have a place where you can come and just relax a little and share if need be.  One of us probably has been there, done that so words of encouragement can be a good thing.  Barre has also posted some nice inspirational songs in her thread under What's Happening ~ nice to listen to and beautiful pics to look at.  Glad your back!!

I found myself swimming and swirling around in a big, warm vat of melted chocolate.  Where on earth was I?  Could it be??  Absolutely not!! And then I realized I was in a vat full of chocolate in the most amazing place on earth ~ Charlie's Chocolate Factory.  All around me were

After finishing Green Moon, I decided to finish Botanica too.  Started in July I had finished the game but still had the Epilogue to do.  Funny how quickly you forget the game~ beautiful but not sure I would replay it-think I only got 11/21 of the collectibles.  Going to start Nearwood this aft.

Got another Beta ~ Midnight Mysteries: Witches of Abraham! When I tried to DL it, it said there was an Error in Download and got code 760.  On BFG, there were numerous codes and apparently, a lot of people are having trouble with the same thing.  They say to uninstall/reinstall and then some say they are having trouble getting the Game App to install so I am afraid to try it again as I have the old GM and don't want to lose it.  Guess I will find out the next time I try to buy something.  Speaking of which, I don't know why they said the sale was their Biggest Savings Yet.  Just like all the others for $6.99.  Going to pass since I don't want to spend any more cash.

Off to urgent care again ~ I have had cellulitis for 3 weeks now and this is second round of antibiotics and it's still hanging around.  Had it last summer after a fall and my lower leg/calf was so swollen, red and itchy, like I had a terrible sunburn. It's not as red this time but it is still there, so uncomfortable.
