Woo hoo, glad you made it home safely!!  Wow, that's hot and it's the kind of temps that make everyone suffer, to a degree.  Wonderful that you have a nice friend that was able to help you out right away.  Also, glad to see you got to play a game, judging from that awesome review you left in the other thread you posted in.

When you first started describing it, it sounded like some of the FTPs~different quests, objects in the same spot in locations you search for things, the spinning wheel, etc.

78. Snark Busters: Welcome to the Club  (08/21/10)  Finished 11/21/15
79. Shaolin Mystery: Tale of the Jade Dragon Staff  (08/24/10)  Finished 11/23/15

Decided to re-try the first Nightfall Mysteries: COTO that had a glitch back in June.  Used a different name and was able to play completely through.  Glad I did because the second was a prequel and the ending explained the relationship of the characters.  Both great games ~ I thought the first one was the more difficult game ~ the items in the HOS of the second game were way too easy to see and was no challenge.  Did enjoy the circuit puzzle which had sliding columns/rows which made it a lot harder to do but stuck with it and got it.

teeitup -- I own all 3 but have only played BRUNHILDA.  Absolutely loved that one!

I absolutely loved it, too!!  The graphics were amazing and so fun to just look at everything.  Never seen a game that had so much fun stuff jam packed in each scene.  Although it was very long and the items were teeny tiny, think I will replay the chapters on adventure level now and then.

Maybe they had a troll who happened upon our little spot on the web and found the posts so decided to nip it in the bud.  Don't really know what difference it makes as I, for one, don't have to have the CE on opening day and can wait forever till there is a sale that fits my budget.

I was just thinking about you and your trip, stusue, and thinking it was coming up pretty soon.  I'm praying for strength for you to make it through the prep part, travel and finally getting back to your own bed safely.  Have you had someone checking your house, doing whatever maintenance needs done so you don't have all that to face upon arrival?

I always wished I had been born with naturally curly hair.  My best friend in HS had it and hated it, esp. when we hung out at the swimming pool in the summer.  I've always had to have perms because I have hair that has absolutely no body to it, doesn't look good straight, terrible bed head so to manage it, I have to keep it moderately short and use a curling iron to style it.  I use to frost it back in HS through my 20's and used a color called lazy lilac which always gave my brown hair, soft tan highlights.  I've had a great beauty operator for the last 20+ years who gives me perms that no one can even tell I've had one and I use a color treatment that has no bleach and washes out in about two months so I just can change the shade from warm brown to auburn which colors my natural frost now.  My mother had beautiful white hair the last ten years of her life so hope mine looks as soft and pretty as hers did whenever I decide to quit hiding the gray.

I've just been in a game playing mood lately and it helps that they were shorter than normal.  I can identify with what you and Wendy said about your sleep patterns - last night I was so tired that I went to bed by 8.30 but of course, I was up at 12:00 am.  Just checked FB and played some more, let the dogs out at 2:30 and back to bed around 3 or so.  I just let my body tell me when to sleep, and it also loves naps.

oscar, I also enjoyed Gypsy Tale, for some reason.  However, because I did the landscape painting before I had all the paints, it would not let me pick up two empty jars so had to start over and I made sure to go by the WT to be sure I didn't mess up again.  There was just something about the game that was intriguing, and I liked the way the story played out.  It's done by Amaranth Games and I checked to see what their other games were as at the end of the game, there was a hint that it might be continued.  They did some of the Aveyond games and a couple others.
