No they don't normally, only occasionally a little aching.  The only reason is because the next toe on my left foot is starting to cross over so it appears they are getting worse.  My mom had both of hers done years and years ago and I know the procedure has changed a lot.  A friend of mine from HS just had one of her's done and she posted before and after pics on Facebook and it was amazing.  She had a little scooter that she put her knee in and scooted around on it (video provided) and was off of it for 4 wks, I believe.  She posted a pic the other day of her feet with her shoes on for the first time.  My mom's dad had them, as well as both of my boys are starting to show signs so it is definitely inherited in my family.  The down time is why I put everything off until now because of needing to be available to do stuff for my folks.

Thank you, lily.  Yes, awful burning lower back pain at times.  That's one of the reasons I decided to do it now.  When I asked the doctor about pain levels, he said most people are so relieved from the release of neck and shoulder pain they have been experiencing that the pain is not as bad.  Now that mom and dad are gone, I've decided it's time to take care of me.  Next will be bunion surgery.

Hi, Meg ~ so nice to see you again and thanks for catching us up on everything.  Can't believe you all have been married for two years.  I love my crockpot and would you believe I've had the same one from when I first got married back in March 1968.  In fact, I made beef stew yesterday and going to have a bowl of left overs tonight.  Sorry about your back and boo, on getting the kidney stone gene.  I've never had them so don't know what that's like but I have had shingles and that pain was horrible.

Sorry to hear about your ankle, oscar.  I try to be super careful where I walk because when I start to fall, there is no catching myself.  I've made the decision to become less top-heavy, if you know what I mean, and the surgery is schedule for Feb. 1 so just hoping I won't be laid up too long as I will have computer withdrawals.  It's a start for me to get serious about weight loss and meg, I also have decided to start cutting way back on sugars and sweets which is hard when you have a sweet tooth.

I know.  Played the first one in Aug. 2012 on my old computer (Vista) so don't know if that has something to do with it but when I looked in the forum, there were lots of others that were having issues and I saw someone who mentioned they had the same issue as I did.  It let me enter my player's name and I watched the opening sequence, then the screen turned dark and I thought it was transitioning into the game but nothing happened so had to CAD to get out.  Tried it another couple of times and reinstalled it but no go.  Even tried DL to my laptop but for some reason, the DL would not even work on it.  May reinstall my GM on the laptop and try again but I doubt it will work.  Crazy how most of them work then out of the blue, something like this.

I'm going to wait until tomorrow also to see what the CE is as I have only one I really want, the Sable Maze one plus I get my monthly credit on the 2nd so will have 2 to use if it is a good one.  Three of the recent CE's have had major tech issues or don't merit CE status and don't want to take a chance on those ~ Spirit of Revenge: Gem Fury CE, The Curio Society: Eclipse Over Mesina CE, Mystery Crusaders: Resurgence of the Templars CE.

That's great, Tirama ~ glad to have you join us.  The whole reason this forum exists is to finish our games. For me, to see them listed, helps me stay focused.  I've often thought it might be nice to have separate challenges for M3's, TM's, LFG's as it's fun to talk about individual games we're working on.  I'm bypassing a lot of my older M3's and others as they take longer to complete.

ps: thanks for correcting my error in the heading.
