Tirama - it is a matter of a company's data being compromised and the possibility of cloning.  No actual transactions have been done.  So yes they do know what company it is as the banks were notified by them, but won't share the info, said they couldn't.  I imagine it is so consumers don't lose confidence in whatever company it is. I got the impression from the person I was talking to and the little that they said that it may have been an employee issue within the company.  I know that happened to my mom with her Amex and it was an employee within the company.  TSC actually called her and apologized as well as Amex.

oscar - It is just possible that it's the bank/credit card's data that was compromised.  It seems a bit odd to me that the company wouldn't contact its customers directly instead of contacting their customers' paying agents.

I got a notice about ebay being compromised and that I needed to change my password but I didn't have a credit card on file so I don't think it really affected me. I was however compromised by the target  breach last november and the same thing happened but since it affected so many people, my old one still stayed valid with extra monitoring while my new one was being sent AND then I couldn't make purchases online until I registered it with Verified by Visa and now anytime I buy anything "suspicious" like when I booked my fiance's plane tickets, they call me like 2 seconds after and ask if it was me. Its kind of nice to have someone looking out for me. I love credit unions.

Anyways....Hellllooo alll. The fiance is here, on the bed watch the show Fargo which I don't watch so I am playing games  I just finished Spa Mania  and I liked it enough to give it 4 stars. This past weekend I took advantage of the BOGO and got A LOT of games both on the mac and pc. Now that I have a pc laptop, I am taking advantage of it and picked up a lot of games I have always wanted to try and loved like Viking Saga, Northern Tale, True Fear etc etc. Some were disappointing but lots of were entertaining. I will say you guys get A LOT of terrible SEs from developers I have never heard of although I did quite like today's DD, the 7 gnomes or whatever. It has horrible ratings but I thought it was a diamond in the rough.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who talked so much about great pc games because I knew exactly what ones to download and they were very good, well most of them...now I have even more to play! LOL 

I will be going out of town on a coastal trip down highway 1 starting sunday for a pre marriage honeymoon since we have the time now. The ceremony is set for June 28th. Just a little thing in the backyard with my parents, brother & his fiance. 

I hope everyone is doing well...sorry about your card oscar...I didn't go back far enough to catch up on everything but I miss dishing about different games especially because now I can actually comment on new games! LOL My fiance is a gamer too just tower defense games and resource kinds of games...but he also watches boring war documentaries so I get plenty of time to hopefully finish up a few of my games. Ok I have written enough for 5 people. Hope everyone is happy & well xx

Yesterday our internet was finally fixed, but still no TV. I´m getting used to it but I miss Grey´s Anatomy  and Mad Men...
On top of that I got a terrible cold. I´m dragging myself to work and hurry to bed as soon as I come home

Stuesue regarding the Punch Card, as I´m no longer a member I would have paid over $12 for a game! It was rather easy decide not to, but still it felt a bit strange

Nice to hear from you, meg ~ so glad you and James are settling in and that he is a gamer, too.  And YES, 7PCC's are great!!.  The road trip sounds fun and glad you've set a date.

Anki, sorry about the cold, esp when you have to be at work ~ nothing worse than feeling miserable and having to "be there".

I also got an email about the ebay thing but wasn't sure it was legit ~ just looked not official enough to me.  I think I used pay pal and it's been so long, not sure I even remember my password.
