Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I've just posted a review of Surface: Reel Life in my review thread if anyone's interested.  I played the SE today but there's a bit in there about the CE, as well, if anyone's thinking about getting the CE.

I enjoyed it more than I'd expected and really liked it.  I recommend the SE but not the CE.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I've put Magic Heroes: Save Our Park into the done column.  I played on timed, and was able to complete the park before I finished the 4th section of M3 boards!

I have 14 boards left to play in section 5 and will work on them whenever I have a chance so that I can get the last two achievements, but I find it boring to play a lot of  boards when I don't get any reward for doing so.

I'm going to start European Mystery: The Face of Envy Collector's Edition tonight.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I received notification from my bank today of a fraud alert regarding a credit card.  Apparently some company had their data compromised and I can't use the card for internet or phone purchases until I receive my new card.  It is fairly easy to narrow down what company it would be as I use this card strictly for internet purchases and it has a $500 limit.  Those companies would be my newspaper pre-auth, Apple, BFG, The Shopping Channel and Playrix.  Those are the only purchases I have made in many months. Anyone else have an issue?  If not I can cross BFG and Playrix off the list.

Oscar - when companies have their data compromised, it can take months before the thieves use your data.  As you know, my card was used fraudulently a few days before Mother's Day.  I use my card for just about everything including BFG.

So sorry oscar.  Of the ones you listed I only use BFG.  I haven't had a problem.

Good to know Lily.  Tirama - I know it can take months, but that is about it plus Amazon (Cnd),  I use it only for internet purchases.  I'm just trying to narrow it down.  I just really want to know what company and the bank won't reveal who. Fortunately, unlike with yours, I will only have to change the expiry date on two pre-authorized pays and I can still use it at machines andfor in store purchases if I want.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Oscar - did the bank tell you where or what the transactions were?  The ones being charged to my card were in Southern California at a gas station and a Home Depot.  I doubt your bank knows where whoever is using the card got the info from.

Has anyone played The Veil of Mystery: Seven Little Gnomes before?  It's today's Daily Deal and it looks interesting...I'm just downloading it to have a look but I hate that it's almost the end of the month and I would have to start new card if I get it.

Barre, I was debating whether to get it or not as reviews were all over the place and also would start a new card.  There was a long thread with the developer of the game and after reading that a little and some of the more positive comments, I decided to get it because it seemed like a unique game and I often like those not-so run-of-the-mill type games.

Hi Tee, actually my debate now is whether to use a pcc to get it on a Monday so it's free, or get it at the DD price today.....still debating...but I am getting it.
