Memorial Day Weekend Sale

What is everyone thinking of getting or what did you end up getting?

Plenty of demo time.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

I plan on getting 4 CE's.

I'll definitely get Christmas Stories: A Christmas Carol Collector's Edition.  I can put it aside to play around Christmas and not feel guilty about buying something and not playing it right away.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

I too have that Christmas one on my list, I never did buy it last year.  So many to buy and so short of funds so I will have to be choosy.  I do have two credits though so I can get two CEs with no outlay of cash.  I think I am more interest in New York Mafia, Lost Souls and Off the Record.  I'll have to nose around a bit but I am going to try to hold it to four CEs.  I'll buy them Monday hoping for a bonus, plus I have a coupon that needs to be used. I may use that for Origins or House of Usher.  Origins is a little higher on my list though.

I appear to have totalled missed Haunted Train, I'll have to look at it.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

I still have 6 credits left.

If I get 4 CE's on Monday, I'll fill 3 cards with no punches left over (I already have 2 punches).

If I get 6 CE's, I'll have 2 dangling punches.

If I get 8 CE's, I'll have to spend money, I'll fill 5 cards and have 4 dangling punches, but I could find 2 SE's to get with pcc's.

Decisions, decisions.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

I demo'd Haunted Train: Spirits of Cheron and it looks a little cheesy.  I am not sure I am going to get it now, maybe when it comes up as a Daily Deal.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

I'm going to get:

Cadenza: Music, Betrayal and Death Collector's Edition
Christmas Stories: A Christmas Carol Collector's Edition
Danse Macabre: The Last Adagio Collector's Edition
Dark Canvas: Blood and Stone Collector's Edition
Dark Parables: Jack and the Sky Kingdom Collector's Edition
Grim Tales: The Vengeance Collector's Edition
Off the Record: The Italian Affair Collector's Edition
Phenomenon: Outcome Collector's Edition

I'll need to use 2 pcc's to make the puches come out even.  I'm going to get Fantasy Mosaics and need to decide on another game.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

I'm going over my budget, but I'm getting:

Grim Tales The Venegance CE
Phenomenon Outcome CE
NY Mysteries Secrets of Mafia CE
Off the Record The Italian Affair CE
Tales of Terror House on the Hill CE
Dark Strokes Legend of Snow Kingdom CE

That will give me 24 punches so 4 PCCs.

I currently have 3 punches so I am going to use 3 PCCs and get:

Origin Elders of TIme
Dark Tales The Fall of the House of Usher
Family Tales The Sisters

Giving me 1 PCC

After that my next expiring PCCs are June 11 and 14 and I have 5 of those.  And my cash out lay will be $28 and change.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

I'm not getting anything.  There's several I would like, but I'm going to try not to rejoin or buy over the summer.  I need to use my 75% off Gamehouse coupon soon, I think it expires first week of June.  Trying to hit a sale where I don't need a code so I can have the best of both worlds.  I really need to start making a list, otherwise it's easy to forget, but Stusue's reviews will help immensely.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend Sale

Well, the damage is done and these games have been added to my ever-lengthening game schedule:
Grim Tales: The Vengeance CE
Lost Souls: Timeless Fables CE
Bridge to Another World: Burnt Dreams CE
Royal Detective: Queen of Shadows CE
The Secret Order: Ancient Times CE
Tales of Terror: House on the Hill CE
Dance of Death
Fantasy Quest
Midnight Mystery: Witches of Abraham SE
(PCC)
Altogether, I ended up with 29 punches and since I already had one, I ended up with 5 free games. BOGO is the only way to go.  Now trying to find worthy SE's will be another matter.  Open for suggestions!

Games I've completed over the last couple of months:
The Others
Christmas Stories: A Christmas Carol CE

A Wizard's Curse
The Jolly Gangs Spooky Adventure
(lame & real dud)
1 Penguin 100 Cases (finished old game)
Grim Facade: Mystery of Venice
Grim Facade: Sinister Obsession CE
Grim Facade: The Cost of Jealousy

Grim Facade: A Wealth of Betrayal CE (started last night)
4 Elements (playing off and on when too tired for something else-realized already finished once)

Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day (if you are in the US) and getting lots of good games with BOGO/BPM!!!
