Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Thanks Tirama.  I've been holding on to my sets because I'm afraid I'll click "get reward"  if i turn in a few.  In another day or two I'm going to have a big (for me) redemption session.  I still have several of the "reduce energy" keepsakes.  I have been using them though.

Wendy -- I feel the same way.  I'll get the semi and customize the rest of my buyildings but after that....

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

After the Spring event is over, I'll just be checking in each day to do the daily quest, get credit for playing yet another day in a row, looking to see if there's a sale, etc.  I'm looking forward to being able to customize my buildings.  I've decided to get colorful ones first, then I'll get the Ye Olde English ones which I think will look better with the snow in the winter.

In a way, I'm glad it's easy to get all the gold.  I'm playing Midnight Castle and I've just reached the really difficult quests.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I've got around 900 gold in each game now.  I do a couple of Flower Shops, a couple of turtles, play 7 threads for a Mythic Cameo, check the auction and put up the Cameo for 25,000, rinse and repeat.

One of the eggs is now in the Maine cafe scene along with the cherry blossom flower.

The other egg is on the yacht.  I've completed 1 egg set.  I'm not going to complete any more.  I hate doing the Maine caféé scene.  I'm just going to complete stuffed animal sets.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I agree.  The flower shop is pretty easy, even with all three scenes open.  I know every item and where it is.  The scenes are pretty uncrowded, easy to find stuff.  I hate the kitchen in Maine.  In the one game I only have the main Maine scene because I didn't do the Valentines's quest and I've had no other quests to open them, which I'm grateful for, lol  Just flowers and the turtle, except for the odd scene when I'm bored and feel like evening out another collection.  I've got over 900 gold in each game.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Thank you Wendy and Tirama.  I'll go complete my egg set.   From what I have now I should end up with about 700 gold.  Which would be incredible for me.  I probably won';t try for any more pitcher plant sets or flower sets.  Just some more plushies.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

You can still get the plushies after you do the last 2 quests.  They are dumb ones.  I'll write what they are and white them out.
Get candy from the Candy Shop but there wasn't any actual candy
Buy food, all gold.  Milkshake +10 max, Cheesecake +20 max, and Raspberry
Sherbet +68 energy

There was no special award for finishing so I don't know that the last task was even worth it, it used quite a bit of gold.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I thought the last 2 quests were rather dumb too.  Right now I have over 900 gold from the sets!  That's absolutely huge for me. I turned my sets in just in case I didn't get back to the game or lost my Internet. I bought the Easter dercorations and really like them.  They look good in all three areas.  I was disappointed that we didn't get a "seasonal" Ran this time.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I hit a jackpot on the gold machine yesterday and got a gold genie lamp that normally retails for 40gold.  I hit one today (all 3) and my payout was thread  How chintzy is that?
