I haven't tried Mystery Riddles yet. But while I love nanograms I hate minesweeper. But I'll give it a go.
I did get Riddles of the Mask on my IPad and it is a little different. On of the buttons I think above Trophy is blank. I was expecting something with the masks in it but it's just the nanograms. I'll have to try it on the PC to see the difference. I think it was this one, but I don't like that there is 5 mistakes avaiable and I find the colours very soft. Because I play while watching tv sometimes I don't even know I've made an error it is so unobtrusive. It may be I am mixing it up with Magic Riddles (the one with the animals) If so my apologies. I play too many of these at once on the IPad.

Yesterday I played Fantasy Quest, an M3 game by Rokapublish GmbH that was recently released by both BFG and GameHouse. It was super easy and short (I only played through 1 of the 3 modes available as the other 2 didn't interest me) but it was the most exciting M3 I've ever played!
The following are the recommendation and rating I gave for Fantasy Quest in my full review, which you'll find, as always, on my review thread:
My Recommendation:
It's really hard to recommend or not recommend this game. It's the most exciting and fast M3 I've ever played, which I loved! However, it's very easy and not very long, with the same gameplay throughout and only a slight variation in the boards. There are also no extras whatsoever.
I can, however, recommend this M3 game for anyone who wants a really easy game to fill in a few mins with a really exciting and fun game with great graphics and sound effects. And, if you have a FunPass, I'd definitely recommend you give it a go as it's a lot of fun and, as I said, really exciting, which is a funny thing to say about an M3.
I definitely recommend that anyone who likes M3s tries the demo!
My Rating:
I really liked playing this game.

Don't blow your whole aowance at once, Stusue, lol.
I've just been to BFG reading reiews. I didn't like the old way they did star reviews and I absolutely detest the way they do it now They used to put "Most helpful" first so there was a chance that the review wouldn't be by an ass-kisser (sorry for the language but it's how I'm feeling). Now it's done by "Highest Rated" so all the 5 star reviews are at the top. I am so tired of seeing Pennmom first. I don't think she gives lower than a 5 star review so her reviews are meaningless to me. Now she will never give a lower review because then it wouldn't be first anymore. The was I think it should be done(of course it's not to BFG's advantage) is for the "Newest Reviews" to be first. That's how I always sort them when I go to look. That way everyone's review has a chance to be on the first page. I always use the "newest" option because those will be more apt to be from people who have finished the game. Sorry for the rant, but I'm just so sick of reading reviews by the same few people who give the same 5 stars to every game. Actually, I don't even read their reviews, just skip on by, cause I know what they're going to say without reading the review. And now they're being rewarded for the 5 stars

I know, Wendy, I know, I shouldn't just throw all my money away like that.
I totally agree with you re the reviews. I now just skip over Pennmom's reviews as well as s/he always gives 5*. I also sort the reviews newest reviews first so that I can try and find at least one who's actually played the game! A finished-game review is as rare as hens' teeth these days. And all those who used to review once they'd finished games now no longer review. I don't mind a demo review if someone doesn't like the game and won't be buying it as at least then you can find out why. But just because you love the demo doesn't mean to say that the whole game will be just as good.
Some people used to also put a review in the SE forum after they'd bought and played the CE, giving some idea as to whether the CE or SE is the better purchase. But hardly anyone reviews in the SE forum for a CE now.
And Happy Easter, Wendy! It was really lonely in here yesterday. I felt like I was just talking to myself all day.

I hope everyone has a Happy and Blessed Easter.
Don't get mestarted on (non) reviews! There used to be some really wonderful and consistent reviewers. If you found someone who seemed to be at your level and liked what you liked it was easy to make a decision about a game. Now it's more of a guessing game.

Happy Easter to you, too, Lily!

I've just posted a review for an old Match-3 game, Rainforest Adventure, in my review thread. I've finished all 120 levels plus the bonus levels, but then you can play all the levels again with greater difficulty for more of a challenge. I've played the first 20 levels of the second lot of 120 levels and they are, indeed harder. I just wonder how much harder the last levels will be!
My Recommendation and My Rating for Rainforest Adventure, as posted in my full review, which you'll find in my review thread, is as follows:
My Recommendation:
I wholeheartedly recommend this game for anyone who loves M3s. It's old, the graphics aren't all that great, there are no extras, and the boards aren't all that big. However, the challenge more than makes up for it. The first levels took me a little over a minute, leading up to the last ones of the first 120 levels taking me over 6 minutes and sometimes I had to repeat them. And, playing the 120 levels at least twice, plus all the bonus levels, makes this a long game.
Unfortunately, it's not available at BFG as the Publisher is GameHouse. However, with the 50% discount sale on this weekend at GameHouse, it would only be $4.99 for non-members, $2.99 for members. I plan on getting it with my PCC that expires tomorrow as it's a game that I will definitely replay.
It's definitely worth at least trying the demo.
My Rating:
I loved playing this game.

I must be missing something with the reviews. How is it "not to BFG advantage" to have newest reviews first? Are you just assuming sales wise people see 5 and just buy based on that? Frankly I think people use a lot more discretion with their cash and won't get swayed by that. And I'm assuming (again and you know what they say about assume! Lol) that you mean people will get rewarded for 5 star reviews just cause they'll be at the top? I use the review totally differently I guess and I'm kind of happy they have them in star order. I used to go searching for the 3 and lower reviews to see what wasn't liked about a game. Sometimes I found that more useful. Most reviews as you both said are only on the demo and really don't amount to much. Lots of great games have started out slow and a little meh. That being said I tend to read the reviews in the review thread and really only to find out what extras there are. now I just read Stusue's! (grin)
