Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Thanks, Stusue, I love to hear about the sales.  The Margrave one is good, if no one has it yet.
A lady posted some PCC codes on our BigFish Friends Facebook page so I quick used one.  Wanted to make sure I got one so I used it on the first game I could get to and Legends of Solitaire: Curse of the Dragon was showing on my first page so I got that.  I know it had good reviews and I do like the solitaire games.  Eventually I will get the multipack M3 bundle from GameHouse so I'll be set with M3s for the summer..  I'll have a whole week from whern I get up there until I start working so I will maybe actually start to finish some of my games.  Maybe I'll have to pick up some books at the thrift store when I get up there, too.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

NP, Wendy  I post the sales in case anyone's interested.

Wendy, you may have missed it, but I played Legends of Solitaire: Curse of the Dragon earlier this year and loved it!  It's LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG with 400 levels as well as unlimited Freeplay, when you have a choice of 2 different games or a mix of both.  I loved it so much I bought it, even though I'd played it with my FunPass.  It's also got great graphics and an interesting story.  So you did well, especially considering it was free!

Today I got Seven Seas Solitaire with a PCC at GameHouse, even though I've just finished it.  Both are golf solitaire games but are SO different!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

People are giving away PCCs like candy!  I got 2 more and I used them on Mystery Trackers Raincliff Phantoms and Obscure Legends Curse of the Ring.  We're lucky that we like so many genres, we're never stuck for a game to get.  I play anything.  It's strange because I thought there were quite a few decent SE HO games out this last month or so.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Where are people giving away PCCs? I'm curious. There have been quite a few good SE releases lately. Which is good.

I've met some nice people on Facebook, there's a group for Big Fish members and also the Big Fish page itself.  Some of the people will only buy CEs so they always have a bunch of PCCs and they don't like SEs.

Wendy - oh ok. that's cool. That's nice that they give up their PCCs for others to use.

I'm excited for the new Off the Record game that came out today. Will have to test it out. Depending on the sale this weekend I may buy it. It sounds like a great game and it is getting good reviews so far.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I have been playing Cruel Collections: The Any Wish Hotel.  It's longer & better than I thought it would be.  I almost had a problem playing it because it wouldn't take the handle for the winch even though I tried 2 dozen times so I looked in the forum saw others were having the same problem and did what they did and it worked.  My only problem now is I can't hear any music at all.  Weird playing and the game is so silent.

misscat...I also, am interested in the new Off the Record game.  I will most likely pick it during a sale.  I have the first one and still have not played it yet.

wendy...That's generous of people to give up their pcc's.  That's better than allowing them to go to waste.  I find it strange though.  I can always find a game for my pcc's.  Some of those SE's are pretty good.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm really enjoying Mystery Riddles.  It's really two games in one.  There's 100 nanogram puzzles to solve and then there's 100 other puzzles which are similar to mine sweep and BeTrapped.  I've completed about 70 of each puzzle.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I've been playing Mystery Tales The Lost Hope.  The graphics are not too bad and there is a lot to do.  The story is interesting and I do like the extras, fiinding stone animals and crystals.  Then you use the crystals to transform the animals to real in the zoo.  You collect coins as well but they seem to be about decorating your screen.  As well there is a crucible that you use on green glowing items.  So there are some neat little things in the game.    One thing I don't like about it is that the sweet spot on things is so narrow.  I try using something and its no.  But after exhausting things and the map insisting there is something to do you have to fiddle around trying to find just the right millimeter to click on.

My pet peeve as of late is that all the games seem to have the Hint button very close to the map or some other necessary button.  Your pet, or in this game the crucible.  In Face of Envy it was close to the box you needed for the light beams and to make things.  I don't like to use the hints especially if there is an achievement but more than once i have hit it by accident trying to click on the map or smething else.
