Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

Ok, just let me know when everyone decides to start the group play.  I wasn't familiar with Apothecarium and was prepared to use a PCC on it today but when I looked in my alpha schedule of games, well what do you know, there it was (puchased early July 2013-probably in a sale).  DL'd the walkthrough so ready to go on that one.  Already had Green Moon forever and have a printed WT for that one.  I may be really slow in getting through the game with RL stuff but will plug along.  I need to figure out how to play LFG games.

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

I would like to suggest that when Green Moon ends, we start a Nancy Drew group play.  I am anxiously waiting to start the 2 that I have, so I will wait until after Green Moon, is that okay? is anybody interested in Nancy Drew for group play?

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

I bought Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water's Edge almost 2 years ago and would be interested in getting that one off my unplayed list.  Who knows?  If I enjoy it,  I could get some more Nacy Drew games.

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

I have #16 ND White Wolf of Icicle Creek, #18 The Phantom of Venice and #23 Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water's Edge.

I was thinking of playing #18 first before going on to #23.  You see, as the series progresses, it gets more modern.  I remember when I started with #7 Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake it looked so different.  I enjoyed Ghost Dogs because of the maze.  I played #10 Secret of Shadow Ranch...not bad.  I went on to #12 Secret of the Old Clock...I loved this one because we get to drive around town in our car. Then I tried to start #16 White Wolf of Icicle Creek...tough one because it is sort of timed (for tasks that you do in the hotel) so I put it aside.   Then you know that in the old forum I skipped forward and played #26 Tomb of the Lost Queen with Gov, but now I want to go back to play #18 first, but if you are interested in #23 I'm all for it.....I'm flexible.

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

I'd be in for a Nancy Drew game next. I have all those games Barregar. I've played White Wolf , started Phantom of Venice but never completed it. Haven't played Shadow yet. Which ever one you want to do is fine with me. I think I have them all except the firts two ( no longer available) and Alibi in Ashes....just haven't got that one yet. It's the one I'm least interested in.

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

barregar - I'm very flexible as to Group Play and don't mind waiting until others are ready to play the ND I own.  I have lots of games in my inventory whispering "Play me, play me."  so it's not like I'd have nothing to do while I waited.

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

I have a bunch of Nancys, Sherlocks, and Agatha's.  I bought them with my Groupons and loaded up on some others when they split up "Syberia.  Some of the Sherlocks were taken out of the catalog for awhile, I jumped on them when they came back.  Another I have heard about and bought that sounds excellent for group play is The Last Express.  It moves in real time, I read, so if you're doing something at one end of the train you can miss a conversation at the other end,  Seems like it plays different every time.  I can't really do any group plays until late October, but I'll join in then on any we do.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

Tirama, your games only whisper to you? Mine have organised competing marching bands with LOTS of very loud drums that they constantly beat ... OUT OF SYNCH!!!!

Barre, I have both the ND games you want to play and I'm totally flexible on when you want to play them. Count me in.

Wendy, I also have The Last Express and so I'd be interested in playing that in a group as well. That one would be very interesting, I think, in a group because people are going to hear all different conversations depending on which way they go. It may be a bit hard to play in a group but it sure would be interesting.

If they get too rambunctious, I threaten to dex them.  So they pretty much behave themselves.

Re: Suggestions for next Group Play

Wow, Tirama, I'm impressed! You manage to keep yours in line???? I see hundreds of games all running towards me, all screaming, all trying to be heard over all the others, demanding my attention ... and I take off in terror and hide before I'm overrun and trampled to death.

I suppose I need to grow a backbone.
