I am having bad luck finishing my games that I have started. First I was playing MCF: Fate's Carnival. It was going good and I was really enjoying it and then my computer had like a surge where the it went blank for a second and had to restart itself. When I got back into the game I found all my progress was lost. So then I started Temple of Life: The Legend of Four Elements. Was in chapter 2 and found out I should have picked up a disc in a close up scene and didn't. Now I can't go back to it. So I started Shadow Shelter which I got in the puddle jumper sale. I hope I can finish this one with no problems.
I also started playing The Lost Crown: A Ghost Hunting Adventure in a group play at Challengers. I had this game a long time and when it came up for a group play I signed up. Still working on The Longest Journey. I really should have finished it before starting The Lost Crown . I was on Chapter 12 out of 13. So I was really close to the end.

Tirama those are all really good reasons and I didn't mean to step on toes. PC users have an advantage though and once I get this laptop pc my fiance is bringing for me in May, I may actually have a lot more positive things to say in terms of the PCCs and games to buy because I will have more options. PC users seem to get all these random SE games but mac players don't or we get the ones that are by HdO or just random bad ones except for The Tiny Tale as that one wowed me or ones that were great 4 years ago like lots of alawar games but outdated now so lots of times I find I don't have many games to use my coupons on unless I wait for the SE of games...and some I wish I had waited for the SE...I also like being able to see the TGT and demo it if I want although I usually never buy anything that day unless its on sale. I hate having to keep track of other sites too and BFG makes it very easy with all the choices. I did cancel my membership from 2008 to mid 2009 because I worked too much to take advantage and I chose to come back and I do love playing games. Im almost overwhelmed with how many games I have though LOL I feel like I am never going to finish them and by the time I do, they will all be 10 years old...Anyways I think I was just venting that day or upset about somethiing else....My apologies...
No need to apologize. I was upset when BF changed the pcc policy and did my share of crying about it. I was just offering up some food for thought for anybody who was thinking of jumping ship. Don't cancel your account to get back at BF; cancel because you've found someplace that's better for YOU.
I've looked at Game House and some other places and yes, Game House is cheaper, but they don't have the games I want.
Personally, I don't get the dissatifaction that some people feel about non-members paying the same price as members for SOME sales. (Now if they could pay less than members, then I'd be steamed.) I just look at how much will have to come out of MY wallet if I buy something and decide whether I want to pay that price.

I had that happen to me last year. Went through a period of time where something went wrong with every game I touched. It's so frustrating. Hope your current game behaves and is a good one.
I'm off to use my 2 pcc's. Going to get Magic Griddlers and Mystery Riddles.

GameHouse has a 50% sitewide sale again through 10 April.
Code : DOG14
Sorry, Wendy, but you need a code so once again you can't double that up with your 75% discount coupon. Why don't they just have their usual sale where all the games are already discounted in your trolley so you can add other discount coupons? Silly GameHouse!

Sunshine, I'm sorry you're having such rotten luck playing your games. Hopefully you'll have better luck with The Lost Crown. I actually have that one, and The Longest Journey, but of course haven't played either. I decided that the quickest way to shorten my To Play list is by playing all the short ones first, leaving the long games until later.
Hopefully you'll love Shadow Shelter even half as much as I did and that should make up for the other rotten games.

Lily, I hope you like Secret Bunker USSR!
I haven't heard from Barre but not long after she left us I saw her posting elsewhere. I think she's gone for good.

Thanks stusue. I vaguely remember her saying she was going to leave and then she decided not to. I guess her reversal was brief and she did leave.
Oh. And don't get too excited. I said I'd demo SECRET BUNKER!

I decided what game to play. Final Cut Encore SE. I really loved the first game, made me mad I didn't have the CE cause I wanted to keep playing. I've only been playing for a short time, I've been through a small bit of the house, then we left to go to the army base. I'm not loving, loving it yet but I am liking it a lot so far. It had one of those turn all the lights off puzzles, I'm usually alright at those. I ended up just chasing a light around and I noticed it had a reset button. When I reset it I noticed it had a pattern so you only had to hit a few lights to win. It also had 2 more levels and they had patterns, too, one harder than the next. I enjoyed figuring that game out logically, usually I'm just hitting buttons and eventually get it. It had a good swap the pieces of scrollwork that was decently hard. The pattern wasn't too easy so it gave it a little challenge. The pieces lock into place if they're in the right spot so that makes it a lot easier. I'm playing on the hardest mode, it still allows hints and skips, so it seems like they could make the puzzle so the pieces don't lock when they're in the right place, that would give it more challenge. I've enjoyed all the puzzles so far and the story will start picking up shortly.

I was just over at BFG's FB page, I haven't been there in ages. It's mostly complaints and mostly about the casino, which is normal. But there isn't any BFG response to any of it. They've posted the coming games and that's about it. They used to respond to some of the complimentary posts but now it just seems like a wall of silence. Oh, there was a post about highly rated they are with the BBB.
