A couple of questions: does anyone else think the Pets are a rip-off? It takes forever to collect food. And these new ones--they don't say how much food you need. I was shocked to find the stupid owl needs 12 feedings! And how do you save enough money to buy one? Also, I find the danged repetition unutterably boring. It's fun doing the quests, but repeating those hos over & over to get money just to open a new area is getting really old. I'm tempted to trash the whole thing, but the story keeps me going. And oh yes--is there a secret to winning at the stupid craps game? I never win more than 1 out of 3. Just one more--I'm sure you're bored with my ranting--what is the point to the airship? You give away all your hard-earned stuff, for it seems like very little return. If you have a lot of surplus, wouldn't it be more cost-effective to just sell it? Okay, I'm done for now.
Hi Sandhan, thanks for all the lovely gifts.
The piggy uses 10 food. and if you pack that airship, you'll have lots of pig food.
The airship rewards you with steering wheels if it's sent off full, and you will get a puppy egg as your reward when you've earned 3,000 wheels. Other than packing the airship, the only other use for its cargo is to give to friends if they request it, or sell it.
To get through the HO scenes without falling alseep, I use the Edwina Margrave dreamcards appoarch. I pretend the items on the list are words on her dreamcards and find objects 4 at a time, saying to myself "I name you Angel Whip and Frog Feather." And imagine the objects replying in a high pitched voice "Yes, yes, those are our names." (Anybody who hasn't played Margrave: The Curse of the Severed Heart is thinking I'm completely out of my mind)
Oh, I believe when you pack the airship, you're getting paid in coins for those goods. There's an achievement for earning money from packing the ship.

Sandhan, I just packed an airship and as you pack each crate, you get the same amount of coins as you would if you sold them from your inventory.

Tirama, (I see you're playing again) Thanks for the gifts, and thanks for your patient and informative reply to my rant. I didn't realize at the time that much of that stuff was only for the airship. I've sent 3 loads now, and got 3 diamonds & a trophy. So puppies & pigs lay eggs now? I love your method of staying awake during hos; I must not have played that game. I do try various little tricks, but it always gets to me sooner or later. I guess I'm frustrated because I need 38000 coins to open up something for the Dungeon Master (?) But I must persevere, if only to find out if the hinted romances ever materialize.

OMG, Tirama, that one was to die for. I actually love Edwina, I didn't get the games for the longest time and I was very happy playing them. I can hear Edwina saying just that and now I will be, too. I lost a wallpaper off my laptop and couldn't remember where I got it from, now I think it was Blacksmith's Daughter. A quaint cottage by a stream.

I started again when BF offered a 60% off coupon for downloading the game. I'm in a holding pattern right now with ART, so I figured I'd give this another go.
Getting the so many airships in a row achievements is very easy now that the game supplies goodies that can only be used on the airship. I've already completed mine. And if I ever get my hands on a piggy egg, I've got lots of food for it, since that seems to be what the airship gives out most of the time. Been doing a lot of flower clicking.

Does anyone know what it takes to unlock the new avatars? It doesn't seem to be level, or not entirely.

Look at the achievements. That's where you earn them.
Check your pm's.

Tirama, thanks; I realized that later. Noticed people were turning up as the Snow Queen, even at level 16. I like the Belly Dancer; wonder what that will take to unlock?

You have to send a lot of airships out. The Belly Dancer is the award for sterring wheels, the third level. I have no idea how many wheels that is. Level 2's reward is the puppy egg and that takes 3,000 wheels.

Tirama, (how many avatars are you running, anyhow?) what happens if you're short on an item for the airship? If you send it anyway, do you get partial credit, or is all the stuff wasted? I'm asking because I just barely made it this last time. Also, have you gotten to the skeleton in the Pirate Ship? Holy Labyrinth, Batman! One thing leads to another, which needs three things, each of which needs something crafted...ad infinitum. I thought it was frustrating before!
