Meg, thanks for the updates. It's good there wasn't a big delay for him to rebook.
Sun- I love love love The Walking Dead. So sad that this week is the last ep of the season. As you start watching season 1 post and let me know what you think. I'm going to re watch it for the 3rd time.
For the nanograms the publisher is 8thFloor and I prefer the world tour ones. I like that there is no background picture. There is something about the pirate one that bugs me though. I play thru Christmas Griddlers and World Contest on my IPad, delete and reinstall and play all over again. And lastly I highly recommend Township. Plus you might me able to get Asian Riddles for the Android. It was free for a bit. The lives refill pretty quick, no need to spend any money.

Has anyone played Murder She Wrote2 ?

I got an android tablet last Christmas and I finally figured out how to install games on it from Amazon appstore. I put on Patchworkz - Burger Shop - Jigsaw World. Now I just need to find a solitaire and a M3 game and a word game and a nanogram game then I am all set. Also, a few people mentioned that Township was a good free-to-play, so I think I will put that on too.
BFG has Farm Up for Android. Also some HOs but I don't like them on the tablet. My favorite solitaire app is Solitaire Free Pack, it has hundreds of different games and you can pick by difficulty, time, etc.

meg -- Basically what sunshinej said! Actually almost word for word -- that's what i was going to say. Someone I know who lives in Washington state said she had seen an ad for BFG Casino too. I LOVE JOAN OF ARC. Okay it's not historically accurate (as someone just had to point out) but I like everything about it. Did you play the levels again after you finished? (there's a thing called free play). I got a few achievements by replaying that I missed the first time. My nephew lives in Oakland and he said that California desperately needed rain. So sorry your parents had to cancel their trip. Hope your mom's shoulder heals.
sunshinej -- I have that Agatha Christie too -- also unplayed! But there's an update to AWAKENING KINGDOMS so I'll be playing that.

Oscar... I am playing the game The Walking Dead The Complete First Season. It has 5 episodes plus a bonus called 400 days. The characters are different except for Herschel. He is in the game. It is really good, but you have to put up with a LOT of swearing, the F word mostly. The game is available on PC and Xbox.
I love watching The Walking Dead and would love to talk about the TV show with you. I haven't seen last week's episode yet, but other than that, I have watched it from the beginning.
If I don't like The Simpsons: Tapped Out game I will try the Township game. Is the Simpson's TV show very big in Canada? And thanks on the Nonogram information.
I have played Murder, She Wrote 2. The first two books that is. There are 3 books total. It is a very nice game. I wouldn't exactly call it easy, because I remember Gingergal doing a walkthrough for it and posted it in the forums and I do remember that I needed to check the walkthrough a few times. A good mystery - a lot of HOs - some back & forth - well done VO. I have a feeling that Pysch which came out a few days ago is just exactly like it.

Thanks Wendy on the Solitaire information. That looks like just what I am looking for.
I think Farm Up might be too needy for what I want. I seem to remember you saying that you had to pick vegetables often or else they die. Is that right?

I had this whole long post that I deleted by accident by closing the tab!
Sun - Now I get you, glad you have seen the whole TV show. And I'll have to look out for the game, I do have an XBox. We'll chat once the season is over. (for what it's worth I think they should all turn around and run from Terminus, I have a bad feeling about that place.)
In Township you can leave your crops, they don't die. And yup the Simpsons are a Sunday night staple and have been forever. Personally I stopped watching years ago but did get a kick out them at one time. Doh!
I want to fill my punchcard and just bought the new Grim Legends. Stusue made me want it more and more every time I read one of her posts. I did write Customer service about The Price of the Rose as I refused to start over again and they gave me a coupon, happily it worked on the Grim Legends CE! So now I am short one punch and thinking about the COW. I wonder what sort of sale will come this weekend if any? My want list has grown exponentially. Not my need, I took care of that today when I had to buy a new washing machine! Between that and looming vet bills for the pooches check ups and heart worm I'm not sure I should even indulge if there is a BOGOF......but I know I will.
Today I went for a haircut, had an inch or so lopped off. I've been growing it for just over a year from about jaw length to donate. I've more than surpassed the 8in length required (its about 16 in) but I'm having a hard time parting with it. I figure once June hits and it gets hot I'll be happy to chop it off. You can't have coloured your hair and it has to have less than 5% grey in it. Forutnately I tick all those boxes.

I finished Cursery Tales. I could have done without the bonus section and it did remind me of a Dark Parable game. And the story was kinda weird. In the end I didn't enjoy it all that much.

Oscar, I sure hope it lives up to your expectations! Oh, the pressure, the pressure! You sure are lucky that the coupon code worked on the CE!!!! I just hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
What a great idea, growing your hair to donate! Unfortunately, it's something I couldn't do as I don't fulfill any of the criteria - length, colouring, % grey.

I played Origins: Elders of Time PE yesterday, - the CE version at GameHouse, not the BFG SE version. I'm not sure why BFG didn't offer it as a CE as it has a bonus chapter, SG, several jump maps (there are several locations and lots and lots of scenes - I just used the Hint button to get around), collectibles, achievements, the usual extras, and it was long, as was the bonus chapter. And, with the 50% sitewide discount at GH at the moment, it's the price of an SE.
I really liked it. It's mainly adventure with an interesting storyline and a few puzzles and HOSs thrown in for good measure. Some of the puzzles were super easy but they got harder as the game progressed and some were original and fun. The HOSs were hard! But fun! I have no idea how how you could possibly get the achievement for doing a HOS in under 30 seconds. You have interactive list HOSs and some small ones where you have to find parts of an object in order to build it so you can use it. They were all hard because the graphics weren't as clear as some other games. However, in the interactive list ones, not only do you have the straight list objects to find, but also some interactive ones and some needed more than one interaction, but you also had several in each HOS where you had to find maybe 3 or 5 of several objects, which may not always have been the same thing (eg. bulb could be a light bulb or a plant bulb). There were also some that weren't objects and you had to work out what they were (eg. "sleep 3" were three "Zs"!) or you needed 2 or 3 objects to make something (eg. "hunting scene 2" was a hunter and a deer). And some of the objects were hidden really well, as in hidden behind things, so you had to not only look for the objects but also find maybe just a bit sticking out from behind something. So the HOSs were hard but fun and definitely thinky. So how you could possibly do one in under 30 seconds I have no idea. However, if you, like me, get stuck finding that last object or 2 or 3... you can always choose the easy alternate golf solitaire game.
There weren't all that many puzzles but they were original and fun. Some were easy peasy but, as I said, they got harder later in the game. Some took some thought, however, but all were fun. There also seemed to be a lot more puzzles in the bonus game, which took me about 90 minutes, and that was hitting the Hint button continuously to get to wherever I had to go, so longer if you wanted to remember what you had to do next and where to go yourself. The bonus game isn't necessary but was good and gets you off the island and back home.
One major negative, though, is the SG, which I didn't find until I was near the end of the main game. The SG itself is fine but you'd never use it in the game. One reason is that the Hint button takes you to wherever you need to go (or you can use the jump map that shows where you have things to do if you choose the easier of 2 modes) and then, if needed, it shows you what inventory item to use where. It doesn't help you with the puzzles, though. However, if you want to check out the SG, you have to totally exit the game back to the main page, then open "More Info", then open the SG! Then go back to the main page before restarting the game. Not a good place for the SG. I mean, who'd think to look in More Info to find the SG? I couldn't see any way to access it in the game.
But I didn't find all the collectibles! What you collect I thought you'd need as part of the game (I didn't realise they were just collectibles) so didn't pay too much attention to them, picking them up when I found them (I don't think they were in every scene and a couple of times I think I found more than 1 in a scene), but thinking you'd have to find them all to do something. But I was obviously wrong. Oh, and that's a weird thing - there's no room or anything to showcase the collectibles (they're really boring, anyway) and the only way you know how many you have is when it shows that you've found maybe 8 of 20 when you find one. Another oddity in the SE version is that you still have achievements but you don't know what they're for or what achievements there are as the achievements are listed in the Extras and the SE version doesn't have the Extras on the main page, and all the achievements are named and that's all that shows up when you get one. So, you get an achievement but you have no idea why and you can't find out in the SE version! That's weird.
ETA: I had to correct something.
