Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I've started Fairly Twisted Tales and according to the walkthrough, I'm in Chapter 3 of 6.  Looks like this game may be short, which is good, because I'll be able to add another game to my finished list and maybe even complete another one before the month is over.

So far I'm recognizing everything, so I guess I haven't reached the point where I glitched the first time I tried this game.  As I recall, I had a problem in one of the HO scenes and couldn't remove one of the items on the list.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I started on Fairly Twisted Tales tonight and I forgot what it was supposed to be about.  When I saw it was Beauty & the Beast, I do remember I did try a little bit of the demo.

In the caravan there is a book about werewolves and it mentioned lycanthorpe.  Now wasn't there a game about Lycans.  I am racking my brains trying to recall and coming up empty.  Please anyone?

Are you thinking of The Beast of Lycan Isle?

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I started it as well and it all seems vaguely familiar.  I think perhaps I demod it or did a beta.  I hate when that happens.  I ended in the castle looking for the gems. I have two rubies and one diamond.  I can't find anything to do that is obvious.  I'll go back to it tomorrow.  Off to bed it's after 1.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I made it to somewhere in chapter 5 last night.  It's starting to look unfamiliar, so I'm hoping I'm past the part where I ran into a glitch last time.  I should finish tonight.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I've played 4 games in the last few days:

Not yet on BFG:
Next Stop  (really simple graphics and gameplay but fun and addictive railway Resource TM)

Already on BFG:
Sea Journey  (really old but fun Battle M3)
Natural Threat: Ominous Shores  (really enjoyed this HOPA)
Natural Threat 2  (not as good as 1 and a major glitch in a HOS that required a restart)

Wendy, if I remember correctly, you said you liked Battle M3s.  If you haven't yet played Sea Journey I can highly recommend it.  It's rather simple (until the final battle which requires speed) but it's fun and even the pirate story is fun!

Yes, Thank you Tirama that is the one I was thinking of.  I looked in my purchase history because I knew I had one with Lycan in the title and couldn't find it.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Fairly Twisted Tales is better than I thought it would be.  At the beach scene in the beginning I wasn't so sure, but now I am getting into.  I am at the ** place in the woods where you need to use the gears that you have found. **

Tirama...That's good that this game works on your new computer and you do not need to write to CS.

Repair damaged restaurants, houses, and sawmills to produce necessary resources. Race against the clock to collect gems, put out fires, and save stranded swimmers! Rescue Team is fun, gripping, and unlike any other game you’ve played!  -  60 levels;
  -  Six bonuses;
  -  Three islands;
  -  Interactive tutorial;
  -  Home repair mini-game.

I already have this one and have ... gasp ... already played it through from start to finish!    However, I don't think I managed to get gold on every level, even after playing some of them several times.  I think I still have a few to go, only getting silver on them.  But I've classed it as finished.    I really loved this one but didn't like the next 2 and so didn't get them, even with PCCs.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Sorry I'm a bit behind on all the sales but my mum got some bad results this week and we've all been sort of reeling.  I've been playing to keep my mind from dwelling but haven't been up to posting anything.

So, here are the current sale games at Legacy Games:

Until 25 March  -  Tales from the Dragon Mountain 2: The Lair  (BFG must be getting this one soon!)
Until 28 March  -  Howlville: The Dark Past

Coming up this month:

Tearstone  (wow, BFG released this 30 May 2011)
Ashley Clark: Secret of the Ruby
