You're supposed to go to San Francisco.  The chick giving you the quest runs that antique shop.  You'll be sent to other places to get items that will help unlock 3 mini scenes.  It's got nothing to do with completing a set of African Dolls, you just have to find one doll (whichever on is in the Secret Library).

I only need 2 more platinum sets to reach 100.  Going to check out the auction and hope I find what I need.
 

I did it.  Got what I needed for my last two sets playing HO scenes.  Next, I'll concentrate on getting all my cities to Master, which should open a couple mini games.  But I'm not going to rush.  I want to play some other games for a while and rest up for the next special event.

Sheesh!  The worst Daily Quest ever.  Play a mini game in Phil's place.  Sure, why not, envelopes are the thing I have least of.  Mini game locked.  Go spend 20,000 coins to buy telephine system to unlck mini game.  Mini game awards Tiger Cat Stamp.  Gee, thanks, I really needed one of those.  Not.

Lily, I just thought of something.  Maybe what you need to get in SF is only available in a certain mode.  You have to play a city 4 times to experience all the modes.

I got that daily quest a while back .  I ignored it.  My daily quest was different from yours.  I wonder if it depends on where you are in the game.

I think the Daily Quests are randomly generated.  I know there's some I received more than once.  I would have ignored it, except for the fact that we now receive a star when we complete a daily quest.  I didn't even mind (much) buying the telephone system, I have plenty of cins.  What hurt was wasting 10 envelopes.  That's the resource I have the least of.
