I just did a HO scene in Demon Hunter. It asked me to find a sphygmomanometar There was only one 'thing' in there that looked like a possibility, I was right but it looked like a blood pressure cuff to me. Is that what a sphyg... is? And as the prize for this HO scene I received a 'teleskop' The weird translations don't bother me much, and even make me laugh sometimes. I don't much get the plot of the game. From what I can tell, everybody ended up dying so I don't know why I don't just get the heck out of dodge. I hope I"m almost finished
I acquired Grim Legends this morning for my coupon. I still have 2 replacement CE coupons but they are good until the end of the year. Maybe I'll save one for MCF if we get a new one.

I finished the main game. Don't think I can handle the bonus today. I didn't care for the game much. Lots of HOs but they have morphs so that kept it interesting. My big problem with the game was lack of story, I got bored cause I was just going through the motions, not really doing things for a reason. The bonus has us in the hospital after the main game ending and it seems we are going into our dreams or subconscience or some other world.

Wendy, I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy Demon Hunter all that much. I only managed to play the first section whilst my sister was here and loved it but I'm going to try and finish it today to see if I like it just as much past that first section.
And, yes, sphygmomanometer is a blood pressure cuff.

I finished MUNCHAUSEN. It was a fairly good game. Not the best I've ever played but no where near the worst. And it was bright! I'm also glad it was short as i was losing interest. Now to find another to play.
What drives me nuts in games is blatant mislabeling and sometimes misspelling. In ART in the Christmas Alley scene they ask for a barber POLL! I know Boomzap is an international company but still....

I've decided to wait until Monday to start a new game. I'm going to demo Hello Venice 2: New York Adventure tonight, and if I like it, use a pcc on Monday to "acquire" it (because I'm a very loyal acquirer LOL) and then continue playing that.
Daylight Saving Times has started in the US. Anybody living in an area that changed the clocks will have to go into their Profile and move the time zone 1 hour closer to GMT

I finished Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows. A good game and stusue I see what you meant by a slow beginning, but it reallys picks up as you go along. I enjoyed playing and glad I was able to finish it today as I need to cancel Gamehouse by tomorrow. I don't want to be charged another month!
Tirama...Thanks for the reminder about changing the time zone here. I'll do it right away before I forget.

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeee! Another one bites the dust! That makes 3 in less than a week!
I've just finished Demon Hunter - Chronicles From Beyond - The Untold Story. Unlike poor Wendy, I loved it! The main game just goes on and on and the bonus chapter was maybe 1h15m or 1h20m (I skipped one puzzle that was driving me crazy! You had to move rings around to make a channel from one side to the other but, whereas there's normally one ring that doesn't move so you just leave that until last, with this one every single ring moved any rings that touched it ... so sometimes 2!). As Wendy said, there are lots of HOPs. However, they're so difficult with morphing objects and interactions that I had no problem with that at all; I found them fun!
Wendy, at the end of the main game you're buried under the rubble, grabbing the amulet. Then, in the bonus chapter, it's 3 days later and you're in the hospital. After killing the demon in the main game, you have to defeat the demon who's now in your mind. All new locations, some puzzles but lots of HOPs. You also had a sort of collectible as each location had something you had to collect for the final scene. At the end you find out that ** you're the baby that was found with the red eyes. **
I got all the collectibles, only having to go back and find one missing beaker, which was really hard to find - as were all the beakers as they're glass and see through!
I missed 5 achievements, though - 3 were puzzle related, for eg., when I didn't do a thinky puzzle in under 40 secs . And I missed 2 of the ? achievements, and I don't know what they were because they don't tell you until you get them.
But it's a game I'd play again.

Tirama, I've got a big, fat X next to Hello Venice 2: New York Adventure, so I'll be interested to see what you think of it.
I'm not sure what I'm getting tomorrow. I know I'm getting Lost Lands: Dark Overlord CE, and I want to get Fatal Passion: Art Prison SE. However, apart from those 2, I still haven't made my mind up about a couple of others and it's a whole new ballgame now, working out punches.
Daylight Savings - or Summer Time as it's called here in Germany - doesn't start here until the last week in March, so you've got 3 extra weeks than us! But wow, we had a perfect spring day today - warm and sunny and I got 2 loads of washing dry outside - and now there's the most gorgeous sunset! It's so hard to imagine that for the last few years at this time of year it was still well below freezing and I was still shovelling snow!

Hello everyone! I'm enjoying 20C weather and lots of Sunshine. Such a big change it's lovely. Today we just begged after all the driving, my poor ankles and feet are getting iced down. They have issues. Tomorrow we are off to see the ocean and maybe do some shopping. Sis decided she couldn't do a week with no internet so we got it, although it's not the greatest it'll do! Just have my IPad though so no games in the evening. We do board games so that's fun. Time change here and back home as well. It used to be later Stusue but they changed it. Take care, it's margarita night! I'll cheers to you all.
