Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I'm guessing the next holiday event will be St Patrick's Day or Easter.  I went through a lot of food during the Valentine's Day event in order to acquire as much gold as I did. So I'm saving my food until I have something worthwhile to work to achieve.

Penny Arcade area?

I think the next holiday will be a Spring event.  Certainly don't want to offend anyone do we?  Somehow Christmas has become so very much a secular holiday.

Easter can be pretty secular, with the Easter Bunny and colored eggs.  And it would be nice to have to complete a collectible set of those hand painted Ukranian Easter eggs.  Candy would also be a good set:  chocolate rabbits,  marshmellow peeps, jelly beans immediately come to mind.  ANd of course, Easter Bunny Ran.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

They can still stick rabbit ears on Ran and call him Spring Ran.  Somehow i doubt that we'd get Ukranian eggs -- probably just regular colored eggs.  And that reminds me.  I have 2 or 3 Ukranian churches near me.  I should probably see if anyone sells those eggs at the festivals.

Wendy -- I'll have to check my W  Va.

Tirama --  (hoping this is a WOW icon).  I'm lucky if I have 60,000 coins.  Of course I don't put anything much up for auction.

I finished the collections and got all the Valentine's quests.  This is the first holiday I've done it.

You can make money just by playing Dinhammer Alley, but the auuction is good for making a lot of money, too, but you have to know what's a deal.  I love to sntch up something for $500 and turn around and sell it for 5000, or 15000
My daily quest is 8 hammer film game.  It gives Ben's Justice, I just picked one up for 35 at auction so I'll skip this dailym too.  I'd rather spend my 8 film on a charm bracelet, posh scarf and a deerhunter hat.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Nobody is really buying my expensive stuff this morning so I'm auctioning off my crap for awhile.  Asking 39, buyout 49, have all the stupid stamps and pictures of scenery you want.  I love to get rid of the swtuff that cashes in for money, you get more for the individual pieces.  I've been working on bronze, I'll move up to my silver crap next.  I hate the medals in the gold section, there's too many of then and I can't keep them straight and they never seem to make a complete collecdtion anyway.  I only collect the one with the aNavy Good Conduct Medal in it.
I got a whole bunch of Rococs for 10,000 right away this morning, hope the price doesn't go down.soon.  Havea to wait until the big spenders check in, though.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I bought a bunch, I got my 5 and 10 achievement.  I bought some red white and blue stuff, figure it will be good for Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.  I'm debating over the cow fountain..  I bought flowers but I don;t see them, maybe when the snow melts,.  Bought the seaplane and a windmill and some fencing.  Gnomes.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I need to build up some money so I can get some decorations.  I want the seaplane for sure.  I bought gnomes and fencing before.  I'll have to see what else is there and what I can afford.  I may be playing a lot of minis.   I bought the griffin fountain and I'm staying with that.

Wendy -- that's a good idea to buy the red white & blue.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I bought flowers for Dimhammer Alley and for Paw Paw Grove and the pinwheels for Paw Paw Grove.

SOmebody must have made a keying error.  I put a deerstalker up for sale and the bid is 45,000!.  Guess I can afford to buy more decorations since I'll be getting some money less than 20 hours.
