I have two quests that I should be able to do, but I can't do either of them. I have to get something from the 18 envelope mini and it won't drop, and I have to get a Brave's Companion from the lodge in Idaho and it's not listed as being there. I'm partway through the 3rd level, I don't know if I have to get to level 4 or 5 for it to become available or what the deal is.
No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

I had to get up to the 4 trophy level in picky shopper mode to get the Brave's Companion. I ended up skipping the envelope task after about 20 tries. I just finished a quest for the Hawaiian shirt and the Sweatshirt and now it seems my game is over. I did the daily and Valentine's quest but I don't have a regular task anymore. Does that mean I can get back to real life now? I suppose I can level up my cities and open and play more minis and buy/sell at auction, but it seems pointless without any quests. Oh, well, I'm trying to work on taxes today anyway.

I'm ignoring my regular quests and concentrating on finishing special collector sets. But I'm getting very tired of playing the same HO scenes over and over and over again.
Just got the achievement for buying food 75 times. I can't believe I've bought mac and cheese 40 times.

The 18 thing didn't drop for me either. I still don't have the letter in the bottle and I think I have 9 more Valentine's quests and only (what) 4 days? Hope we get those quests soon! I have to get all the trophies in New Mexico before one mini opens and reach level 45 before another opens (and I just hit 35).

How do you like today's quest, all the food items? And gold ones only. I didn't get a lot of gold from Valentine's, I didn't realize finding the pigeon was a letter so I took my reward. Took the reward on the lilies and the first candy, too, so I only had multiples of the cards. Since my game is over until whatever new update we get I don't really have anything else to spend gold on. I have 350 some. All I would use gold on is to buy graduation gowns to fill the 50 envelope collection, and food on sale.

Wendy -- I gave a little silent "Yikes!" when I saw that quest. I did have the gold but still..So you must have found the letter in the bottle? I still haven't. And with 2 days to go I don't think I'll get all the quests -- unless they start giving multiple quests per day.

You may have downloaded the update too late to get the first Valentine quest. I won't be able to finish all of them and get the reward because on the day that most people received 3 quests, I only received 2. Nobody has received the quest involving the letter in the bottle yet.
I completed my 100 gold collectibles set last night and completed that achievement. Also completed the achievement for using energy. I've started working on the achievement for buying keepsakes. The whatever it is for 5,000 coins basically pays for itself when used during a 30 minute mini game session.

Tirama -- You could be right. I don't remember how many quests I got at first. Rats!
Okay -- since the quest I haven't seen any cotton stuffed cuties anywhere! (It had beeen in the Carnival). I asked Boomzap and was told that it was only for the quest. Govols said she finds it regularly and has a ton of them!

WARNING!! The new Valentine's quest (2nd) wants you to buy balloons and banners for Dinhammer. There is also a sale on food. Of course I spent all my coins buying food before I saw that quest. So I ran right over to the tailor shop. Oops! Out of needle and thread. It was worth the 10 gold bars to get the money!
I have played all four modes -- many times. Govols said that it isn't in that site anymore but just in the 16 hammers. Of course that's locked for me until I play a gazillion more sites to get Professional or something. And then it probably won't drop!
