Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

One of the tips they are giving in the forum is to not cash in on the holiday collection until towards the end of the Holiday quest time period. Once you cash it in then you can't get any more for that collection. There are some that have stocked up enough to cash in on the same collection several times. As long as you don't complete the collection you should still be able to get things (like the lilacs) because the game won't recognize you have it until you complete the collection.

Oh and I have 900 in energy. It takes forever to fill up but when you can save up for the mac and cheese. well worth it.

Tirama, some people in the forums said that the game crashed their computer, or maybe it's the AK upgrade that did it.  Anyway, I'm afraid to go into both Boomzap FTP games now until everything's fixed.  I have freezing in AK.  Sometimes it says I'm not connected to the internet, when I am.  I can't afford to crash my computer...I run my business on it.

But you have to remember that there are 2 Valentine quests each day and be sure to allow time to do the second quest.

Im not downloading the AK game because it doesn't appear to include the option to save to the cloud.  I can handle a game freezing and needing to CAD to get things going again.

I don't think it was the BoomZap games that zapped my computer.  I'm thinking I picked up something nasty when checking out some Olympic stuff.  Last winter olympics I picked up a virus from the NBC site when I tried to watch one of the skating videos.  Some clowns just love to hijack stuff like that and infect it.  You would think you could trust NBC or the official Olympics site, but it seems nothing is safe.

Tirama, I went to BF but can't find anything about saving on the cloud....where is it?  I looked everywhere.

Thank you, Tirama, for the link.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

govols -- Oh rats!  Of course I turned in my sets as soon as I completed them.  I found the Gerbera fairly soon and then the lilacs completed the set.  I went through each scene yesterday.  I saw ther Gerbera again (first time since I'd gotten it) but not the lilacs.  I'm up to about 750 energy.

Tirama -- I'll have to look at that cloud thing.  Thanks!

You can cash in your sets whenever.  What they are telling you is:  Don't get the reward for the quest until you have pigged out on the collectible you find during that quest (like the lilacs) because once you accept the reward for completing the quest, the lilacs (or whatever) disappear from the HO scene.

One the BF forums, somebody is claiming they received 3 Valentine quests today and one of them involved finding a broom at the junkyard to use to open a mini scene on Capt Matthew's yacht.  I only received 2 quests: one to visit Captain Matthew in Bridgeport, and one to visit the yacht.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Well, it looks like I'm not the only person who didn't receive all 3 valentine quests.  I've sent a complaint to customer service.  If this glitch isn't fixed I won't be able to earn the reward for completing all the quests.  What else is going to go wrong for me this month?
