Re: Finish your games challenge

Stusue I picked up all those except for the Clockwork one I bought that during the AM sale. I forget what my sixth one was now.  They are all dling as I type.

i think on Monday I am going to pick up a few games that you all have talked about.  So it is all your fault.   Voyage, Green Moon and Patchworkz.

Now a question, for those that play I think I mentioned my mom loves World Riddles.  Are the World Mosaics the same game play and if yes, which would you recommend?  My apologies if I asked this in the old forum, I think I did, but can't go back and look!

Noelle Tiger Eye 1 the riddle box was quite good.  I never played the second one.

Yes, Tiger Eye 1 was good.  I've replayed it several times.  I even read the book it was based on.

But the second game in the series was not good.  It sort of followed the book but the artwork was not good at all.  It was so bad it was distracting to me.

My recomendation: play the first game and then read the book - skip the 2nd game.

I liked the second one just fine.  It had a lot of disappointed reviews, but I liked it. I think I gave it 4 stars.    No HOs IIRC.
I'm not going to play Found anymore.  I looked at reviews and people started out liking it a lot but then after awhile you had to spend too much money to really play.  The free Fairway you don't really need money so far.

Thanks, everyone, for your opinions.  Finished both today, and I did like the first one better than the second, except it was easier to find the objects in the second one. All in all, I did enjoy both...although not enough Hari in the second one.  Both had lots of puzzles, although too many were word based in the first one, and I'm so bad at those, my brain just doesn't work like that, even though I rock at the logic based puzzles.  I did like the story, and immediately went to Amazon to buy the book, even though I don't read romances as a general rule.  There were some lines that were a little racier than I'm used to in games LOL

I bought both the new Echoes of the Past and the new Awakening in the sale today, since I've played the rest of the games in those series (told you I can't resist a BOGO CE sale!).  I'll be starting Echoes of the Past this evening (after I review my notes from the 1st four games).

The mechanics of World Mosaics is a little different than World Riddles.  I couldn't get used to it so dudn't buy any of them.

An older game of the same type is Gemsweeper.  It's timed, but I found the timer very generous.  And when you finish all the puzzles, you can start over with less time on the timer.

I loved Gemsweeper.  It was the first of that type of game I ever played, and still my favorite.

I'll take a look at Gemsweeper, thank you both.

The 6th game I picked up today was Forest Legends Call of Love

Re: Finish your games challenge

oscar -- What about ARIZONA ROSE?  That was fun and challenging but not as frustrating as WORLD RIDDLES.

Same here, except I could never quite figure out how the hint worked.  Whenever I tried to use it, I ended up screwing up, so I just played hintless LOL.

I played the Echoes series this year and didn't like them so I have no desire for the new one.  I also played Awakenings Goblin this year, thought it was pretty good, but then when I played Skyward Castle shortly afterward I didn't like it at all.

It's weird not being able to talk much about the newer games.  I did have a bit of wi-fi a couple weeks ago so I d/l  OMG, I'm puppysitting and he just started chewing the mouse, my page went all crazy!!! ...anyway, I got a few trials d/l but haven't checked them out yet.  Apothecarium is SE right?

The puppy also managed to get his head under the neighboring trailers sewer leak the last time I took him out to potty, I went to kiss his head and it smelt like raw sewage.  He had his first bath, aww.  He drives my two dogs crazy cause he's constantly biting their ankles.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Arizona Rose, that's the one I couldn't remember.  I'll look at them both.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Finished 5 or the 7 chapters in the main game of Redemption Cemetery: Salvation of the Lost Collector's Edition.  Should be able to finish the rest on SUnday, no problem.
