Lilyr,  It's a new guy,  he's really cute.  You probably don't see him again after he absconds with your money.

How about that guy who lured me into a poker game?  Part of the quest was to  "have 10,000 coins."
He didn't say he was going to take it,  the creep!   And I check the mine,  and when I see it's still on
"fast player"  mode,  I just skip it.

HUH?  I don't remember any quest like that and I certainly hope I never get one.

It's the quest with the poker chips.  You use the poker chips to open another area (the table) in the bar in Chicago.

I just got another quest from him.  I guess he took our money because we lost at poker.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Thanks sandhan.  Well this is just weird!  The poker table in the bar was the first "other" area I opened in the bar.  I think I would have remembered losing 10,000 dollars to open it!

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Well quest from Pierre is to find his keys.  I have to look at Captain Matthew's.  But I have that glitch at Matthew's.  So I guess I'll wait and see if we get another update that MIGHT fix glitch, if not, I guess I have to fork over more gold.  Not happy.

Only other quest is from Jillian who wants me to play mini game at Phil's, which is locked and costs 16 envelopes to play.  To unlock I have to get certain rank in some city.  Like I'm in a hurry to do so, just so I can lose 16 envelopes, which I don't even have right now.

I've been upgrading a lot of buildings, and I'm surprised Grace hasn't come by to tell me to upgrade my own place.  It's still ony level 2

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I guess I must have played poker if they say so,  but I sure don't remember betting 1000 coins!
So,  is it worthwhile to upgrade the ledger to gold?  Thact's a lot of money,  and I'm still in pain from the poker game.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Upgrading ledger makes more collectibles available.

Earned achievemnt for 50 silver sets.  Played mini games for 1 hour.  Used rose tinted glasses for first 30 minutes and played games that gave me collectibles I needed.  Used hummingbird jewel box for 2nd 30 minutes and played first game in tailor shop until I ran out of thread.  Then switched to first game in toy shop.  Now have almost 800,00 coins.  Sick of playing match-3.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I read the Boomzap newsletter and they say that coming Valentine's Day they are doing updates and one of them is making it cheaper to visit the cities....hope that's true because some of them take so much energy to visit, like 125 each time and I think that's too much.  They also say that they will fix the glitches....keeping fingers crossed.

They also mentioned update to Awakening Kingdom with new quests and a new area to visit, new relics to find.

I think I'll take my time to play these 2 games while waiting for the updates.  Sure hope it'll improve both games.

Tirama, if you want to find the Peace Dove, it's in Crawford Fisheries, mini-game that needs 16 fishhooks.
