lilyr, Kip is not in any locked scene because I got him in the main area..  I haven't progressed that far to open a locked scene in there, so maybe you could try again a few more times and then you would get him.

Groan!  I did not look carefully enough at it.  Sigh,  I suppose I will spend the 13 crystals to unlock game 9.  Is this what you all did?

No, I went for the 2 trophies.  First trophy takes 1 game (and you have to play that mini game once as part of the quest).  2nd trophy takes 5 more games.  I did win a rune of precision at auction and turned in a collection set for 10 blueprints.  If I hadn't, I probably would have bought some blue prints,
 

Thanks Barre!  I got Kip.  Now if I could only get some bolgins.  I'm upgrading Wingferry at the moment to unlock a minigame for a quest.  I have 250 bolgins to my name.  And that's after selling a bunch of stuff fairly cheap. 

I am so far behind in upgrading buildings.  The store is at 4 and I'm doing Wingferry now to 4 for a quest.  Everything else is at 3.  

I know the feeling barre.  I've got goblin runes piled up all over (well ....) And since everyone else seems to be where I am the prices aren't really worth auctioning them.  Perhaps we'll need them again (blueprints).
