Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Sorry stusue I haven't played any of those yet.  The only one I actually have is Paranormal State: Poison Spring

I was so annoyed last night playing MCF, I hit the hint button by accident!  And then in the rollercoaster puzzle I had an issue that after checking the tech thread others had.  My computer locked up, I couldn't even CAD. I hate doing a shutdown like that.  When I powered back on and went back to it it worked fine. The jukebox puzzle took me a while to get thru. Certainly getting my monies worth on this game!

The COW is a pretty good game if someone is looking for an extra punch and doesn't have it.

Got it.

I used pcc's to get:
Asian Riddles 2
Christmas Griddlers
The Ultimate Christmas Puzzler

I still haven't done the bonus chapter for the newest Hidden Expedition.  It's a really good game, honest, but I'm so distracted by those free to play games.  I think I'm a bit burned out with HOPAS, after I finish a HO scene and only get one item, I'm thinking "Where's the rest of the stuff?"

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Well, I finally made my decision!    I got:

Secret Trails: Frozen Heart SE
Mysterium: Lake Bliss SE
(thanks, Anki )

then had to decide on the third.  It was finally a toss up between 3:

Secret Bunker USSR
Paranormal State: Poison Spring
Mystery of Sargasso Sea

I decided to base my decision on which game GameHouse was least likely to get.  So, after a lot of googling, trying to find out who'd made each one and what other games they'd made, I found out that both Secret Bunker USSR (I really want to keep playing this one) and Paranormal State were made by developers whose games are available on GameHouse, so chances are they'll also be available there at some point.  Sargasso Sea, on the other hand, is made by developers who've only made one other game (that I could find) and it isn't available on GameHouse, so that's the one I got.  Now I'm just hoping that the 2 that I didn't get will be on the new games coming up in the next 3 weeks list on GameHouse that comes out Wednesday.    If not, there's always next Monday...

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I want to get a game today for the extra punch,  but am equivocating.  It will probably be  Fall of the New Age.  I'm tired of HOPA's again,  and really don't want to pay for CE's when I have so many unplayed.
Besides,  I'm out of GCC's.  Thought sure they'd eventually have a repeat of the Ultimate Sale,  but guess it'll never happen.  I finished  Ultimate Christmas Puzzler, except for most of the jigsaws,  which got to be tedious.  I'm playing  Heroes of Solitareia,  World Mosiacs 6,  King Oddball,  &  Cubis Gold,  an old favorite I resurrected.  Oh yes,  I finished  Island Tribe 5.  I love the series,  but
absolutely detest the  many  "dark levels,"  where you have to keep re-lighting torches.  My,  isn't
Midnight Castle a time consumer?

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm not getting any games completed because of the F2P games.  I only need to earn enough golf bucks to open one more bonus in FAIRWAY TEE TO PLAY and then that game will have been completely played (including trophies) without spending one cent of RL money.

I have a completely empty punch card so no games today.  I'll have to take another look at SECRET BUNKER USSR since you seem to like it so much stusue.

sandhan -- Did your ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS PUZZLER only have the one screen in the "Other" section?  Mine did and I was disappointed.  The "Rotate" section drove me nuts.  I had to leave the last puzzle at medium level.  It would only come up as not completed and I just couldn't find out which little tile wasn't correct.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I picked up Esoterica and Shadow Shelter with coupons.

I recently got World Mosaic 6 on my IPad as it was on for .99.  But it demo'd fine and then would not open with the full version.  Irritating.  It just hangs at the profession bar doing nothing.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Lilyr,  Yes,  the  "Other"  section had only one screen.  I did manage to finish all the  "Rotate"  ones,  though I sometimes had to leave and come back to several when my hair grew back.  I was glad I could leave and not have to start over.  Did you get as far as the last ones in which several pieces rotated each time?  Frustrating,  but it was the jigsaws that bugged me,  because I couldn't see the pieces against the dark background.  Sometimes I had to fish around with the mouse to find the last one.  Not worth it.
