Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Those Leafy Dresses are hard to come by, good job!  I bought 2 Sylvia Crests with diamonds and I also used diamonds to either open up Level 9(?), the one you had to get 2 trophies on the level before or else skip it in the quest, I think I skipped it for 18 diamonds.  That's how I got so far ahead and got to play Gobholme and collect and sell all those Runes of Precision.  I'm utterly sick of all the HO scenes but I go in every day and grind out some Precisions, Alloys, and Minings.  I also play Sacred GRove, it costs 100 and you can find opal slippers and the Enchantress, but I almost never get them.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I finished the quest regarding Triffledore's minigames and did the quests for Raphael right away since I had everything on hand that he was asking for.  Question:  why did I help Fahleel with his tapestry if Raphael was going to hang his painting on top of it?

The Peddlar showed up.  Alas, I don't have the things he wants.  Oh joy, one of them is located at Apricus Plaza.  Now I get to play that scene and not get TWO items (blueprints and Statue of Power).

I have enough moey to upgrade orchard, but I'm going to wait.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I just got Central Station open and a couple more locked miniscenes.  Hmmmm... I don;t know Raphael or the Peddlar unless he's the guy who wants the Orchard upgraded.  Obviously I still don't know how to price things for aucion.  I look to see what the bid seems to be, list my opening for a bit higher than middle bid and my buyout 100-250 above that.  A radiant dust and a Fairy Queen card sold at the buyout before I even goit back to the main screen.

Thank you Wendy.  I decided to keep both leafy dresses.  How much longer before I get to Gobholme?  Of course I need more blueprints!

I'm still quite enjoying this game.  When I'm getting close to leveling up I'll use one of the special objects and do Triffledore or the Squabitt den, depending on how many resources I have.  About the last thing I want to do is give Triffledore 12k for his two lousy portraits.  I rarely have the money to upgrade because I spend a lot of money on food. Oh well.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

The Peddlar was the guy standing beside the dried up pond in front of the castle.  The guy who wants the orchard renovated is the Forester.

Regarding pricing for auctions: if you price too high, it won't sell.  If you have more than one of something you want to sell, just put 1 up at a time.  If it goes quickly, put the next one up for more,

I haven't bought any food yet.  When I'm out of energy, I play something else (usually the auctions on ART).

I did buy the Sylvia thingy once, traded coruscating dust to Wendy for a puppet to complete a set to get some glue, and accepted Wendy's generous offer of a pink moonflower for whatever I wanted to give her.  I'm hording my diamonds so that at some point I can get cream of fungus soup after I update the orchard to level 5.

I've sold 2 coruscating dusts at auction.  I list for 1000, buyout 2000 and for 1 day.  If somebody buys it, great.  If not, that's okay too.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I had a quest to give 12,000 coins to get two pictures.  I did that, but that seemed unfair and expensive since I already had those two king pictures anyways.

I need to
upgrade the orchards to level 3
upgrade the squabbit den to level 3
upgrade Troglid's Carpentry to level 3
Donate 10,000 coins to fix castle stairs

I have 1500 coins right now.  Going to do my first auction to make some coins.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

That quest for the 12,000 coins to get those 2 pictures really annoys the heck out of me too!  I haven't done it yet.  I think I need something like 50,000 coins to do the quests I have.  It's going to be a very long time.  And I haven't bought any Squabitt accesories eithetr.  They look dumb!

I haven't gotten the quest for the castle stairs.  I've fixed up quite a bit of the outside though.  And I'm taking my time with that too.  I'm waiting until I can get the blue roof since some other things are blue.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

The good news -- I just got the quest to search for Troglid's invitation to Gobholme.  The bad news  -- it's going to take at least 40 blueprints!   I'm thinking of taking Wendy up on her offer of coins but if I do I'd never be able to pay her back.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I think my squabbit looks cute wearing his fedora or whatever it is (the cheapest one).  I haven't done anything on the castle unless it's come in as a quest.

Sold my last coruscating dust.  I have a radiant dust, but they don't seem to be selling for as much, so I'll hold on to it.  I have 60,000 coins so I could do the final upgrade to the orchard, but I'm going to wait some more.  It irked me that I received that quest immediately after unpgrading orchard to level 4.

I'm just going to keep plugging away and get those blueprints.  And I still need enchantress lamps,  Mirror of Illusion, and Statue of Power for the peddlar.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I might, just might, sell one of my leafy dresses.  It seems they're back up to the multiple 1000s.

I sold a radiant dust and a coruscating dust.  Maybe I should go back and take a look.  I think I'll bite the bullet and buy another Silvia thingy.  That would give me the blueprints I need.

I have just about 1500 coins. lol

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I had to restart my game a while back.  I'm still getting noitices that friends (Shaggy and sunshinej especially) have listed things I want.  That is the old list.

On my current list I want:
Goblin worm
Sunstone pendant
Goblin Rune of Precision
Puppet Jyx

I don't want anyone to think I'm ignoring you.  Oh, in the game my name is anneclaire.

I listed a few things (after looking at current bids) and sold a bunch.  Probably priced them too low.

Is anyone having this problem?  When I type in Goblin Sprocket in the Auction search I cqn type S P R O C but when I type K I get a string of !?!?.  That happened when I was looking to buy it too.  Then I just searched through the whole list (which I don't feel like doing now).  I'll ask Monica too.
