I've dexed my replay of Hidden Expedition - Devil's Triangle. I hate this game just as much as I did the first time I plaed it, and I've had to CAD twice because it froze.
Tomorro I'll start Hidden Expedition: Smithsonian Hope Diamond Collector's Edition.

I finished all I'm going to of Ultimate Christmas Puzzler; do wish they had a non-seasonal version.
I competed all the "Other" and Revolve puzzles, but gave up on the Jigsaws in frustration at not being able to see the pieces against the background. I bought Smithsonian on he weekend sale.
In King Oddball, (I can't make the &(^$# bold thing go away) I (at last) found the groovy Secret Moustache World! and finished all but one of the scenes. And started a new game.
Also playing "Christmas Carol" and the new "Haunted Halls."
I like that new solitaire game from Gamehouse; think it will come to BF?

I never really cared for any of the previous Hidden Expeditions, they always seemed hard to me, I didn't know what I was supposed to do or how to do it or something. I like the new one better.
I'm two thirds of the way through the walkthrough of Fate's Carnival. I was doing well for awhile but it's tough. Sometimes it needs stuff from your inventory that you don't realize. There's quite a few door puzzles and they take a good half hour each, and that's with breaking down and looking at the strategy guide Some of them are pretty tough to figure out. The scenes transition so smoothly that I start each day at the beginning of the carnival and walk thru it to remind myself of what's going on. You definitely get your money's worth out of this game and I don't regret getting the CE at all. The cat helper is very black, shiny, slinky and Egyptian. When you buy her stuff she interacts with it. I love the mirror, the cat toy, and the youth potion, it turns her into a kitten. I haven't even played the solitaire game that's included.

I've just downloaded and started playing Game Giveaway of the Day's free game today and I highly recommend it!
It's called Slim and it's a really cute little puzzler. There are only 36 levels and it starts off really easy but I had to restart a couple of the levels a few times until I worked them out. But I got stuck trying to get the last strawberry before exiting on Level 16 so stopped as I really have to get the maze out on Alice.
It's the type of puzzler where you have a playing field with obstacles and you have to move your ball ... in this case a face called Mr Slim - and you should see the way his face squishes up and hear the grunt he makes when he collides with a wall or obstacles, it's really funny ... anyway, you have to move him around by clicking in a direction and he slides across until he hits an obstacle, eating strawberries on the way, perhaps having to pick a key up to unlock the exit, or using portals to go from place to place. It gets progressively harder but so far not too hard - just enough to make it a bit of a challenge as well as super fun. As I said, only 36 levels, so not too long a game ... but it's fun! And, as it's FREE, I recommend you all get it!

Sand, do you mean Legends of Solitaire - Curse of the Dragons? I'm up to Level 330 but have to repeat Levels 320 to 329 ... the third time I've had to repeat an entire mode (? I forget what each group is called but there are 10 levels per city or area of the world you're travelling through) ... because I didn't get enough gold in that group of 10, which is only one of the goals you have to complete for each mode. I don't think I'm ever going to get to the end of my journey through the lands being cursed by dragons. And then there are all the free play mode games.
As for whether or not BFG will get it, the only other game that GameHouse has by this developer is Legends of Solitaire - The Lost Cards. It was released by BFG on 3 July 2012 and by GameHouse on 15 September 2012. However, whereas before GameHouse would get games long after they were released on BFG, now GameHouse seems to get all the SEs well before BFG - in the case of all the Monument Builder games GH now gets them months and months earlier! - so I imagine Legends of Solitaire - Curse of the Dragons will come to BFG sometime.

I have finished The Snow (Fable as they call it know). I haven´t done all the challenges but call it finished on my old computer and later start again on this one.
Stusue, I recommend the SE,of Mysterium maybe it´s me. I really liked it in the beginning and then let it rest for a few days (when I got my new computer) and when I returned it didn´t feel like it was that fun.
But I can Swear that the graphics went downhill in the HOS

Stusue, thanks for the info. Yes, "Curse of the Dragons" is the one I meant; it sounds very worthwhile. I'll have to think about whether to get it from Gamehouse. Do you have to join, and pay every month?
I was with them years ago, before I found BF; they ended up not having anything I wanted, but it looks as though that may have changed.

Sand, no, you don't have to be a member but if not you have to pay non-member prices. However, considering this weekend it's 50% off everything (50% off whatever price you'd normally pay) it'd cost you $5 (instead of $9.99) with the code "Favorite". For members it would be $3 instead of the normal $5.99.
And they sure have upped their game, especially since all hell broke loose on BFG and everyone left. They have the same punch card system, with an SE being worth one punch and a PE being worth 3, with 6 punches per card. However, the differences are that members get the first 2 punches on every card punched free (so you only need 1 PE and 1 SE to get a free SE game) but the cards are valid for 6 months, so you don't have to fill them up by the end of every month - only every 6 months. Another big difference is that non-members can also get punches on a punch card - the only difference is that they don't get the first 2 punches free.
And GameHouse lately has got heaps of SEs that BFG hasn't got. I imagine BFG will get them eventually but who knows? They also have some PEs that BFG only offers as SEs. However, the big difference is that GameHouse doesn't have nearly as many games on offer as BFG and it doesn't get many of the CEs that BFG has. But now you can play all of the PEs that they do have free with a FunPass ... that's one of the changes since the CCC fiasco on BFG.
Oh, and a BIG change on GameHouse since the loss of the CCC on BFG is that they've now undercut BFG on price - they used to be the same but now all SEs only cost $5.99 ($6.99 on BFG) and all PEs only cost $13.99 ... actually, I just checked and they've back to the same price on PEs (CEs) as BFG - for a very brief time I'm sure they were down to $11.99, double the SE price and $2 less than BFG, but they must have put the price back up.
They also have sales all the time like BFG - 50% off all games last weekend - 40% off all games during the week - and 50% off all games again this weekend. I think they've taken advantage of all the problems at BFG. They also have free online games but not, as yet, any FTP games. I have a FunPass where you can play all their games for nothing as well as get one free SE per month to purchase. And I still have a BFG membership to get the CEs (as I play all the SEs free on GameHouse before BFG even gets them ).

Thanks, Anki. So it sounds like the SE of Mysterium for me as I really liked what I played of the demo.
And wait until you try the challenges on The Snow now that you've finished the main game. Boy are they hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still haven't finished a single one of them to get a bonus game. But it sure is fun trying!

sunshinej, I've just finished Alice!
My playtime, including the fiasco of the maze, which had stupid me stumped (which, with a few restarts again, even after your fantastic advice, due to me doing stupid things like pushing the grass too far so blocking myself ) was only 2:50:46, so under 3 hours. But I had heaps of fun playing it! And I think it's a game I'd love to play again. I might actually try and play it again now, straight away while I can still remember all the HOSs, and jot down all the "Interesting Facts" that were included as I found them fascinating.
