Township

They now have Township for Android so I've downloaded it and am going to start it today.  I don't think I will be able to play it over the summer but I have until mid April.

Re: Township

What's Township?  We have Android tablet that came with TV.  DH got larger tablet for Christmas, so I guess I could call dibs on smaller one and actually learn to use it if Township is any good.

Re: Township

Meg has been playing it, it came out first for the I-crowd.  I think maybe someone else, too.  It's farming and building.  I'm still basically in the tutorial, and they have it coming fast and furious at me.  I wish they would introduce stuff a lot more gradually.  Lots of good reviews on it.

Re: Township

I love Township.  Anki and I are both playing on IPad.  I'm currently clearing land to build a roller coaster and ferris wheel.  Your crops do not die if you don't harvest right away or anything like that.

It's the only FTP that I'm playing right now, it's a Playrix game so the graphics are very nice.

Re: Township

I don't have an Android or Ipad but started this game on FB. Unfortunately only a couple of people on my friends list play it so I am not making much progress. It is a shame it relies so heavily on others as it seems like a fun game.

Sent invites to my entire friends list (and I have quite a few due to Gardens of Time) and no one wants to play.

Re: Township

It must be totally different thru FB then. On my Ipad I do have a few friends but you just get a dollar a day from them.  And you don't use those a often as coins that you earn on your own. You don't need anyone else to help you advance. I'd add you on but I'm not sure if it makes a difference that I play on an IPad.

Re: Township

Oscar, it is totally different through FB. You can build a few houses just fine yourself but when you need to build a factory you need friends to send supplies . Or you could spend money ....not going to do that. It is a shame really. Fun little game. I have managed to progress a little but it is slow going.

Re: Township

That's too bad Govols.  I really like the game but it is a solitary game on IPad.  although I can "visit" my friend's towns, there is no interaction.  It takes quite a while but I did just put in an airport!  And the graphics are very good.  Quite clever some of it.  I love when you are building something they have all these little guys doing different chores.  The airport had a crane in the middle and it took a day and a half and you could see the walls go up.  There'd be no walls and you'd go back 8 hours later and there would be one layer.

Govols - it doesnt have trains that bring you supplies?
