barre- I'm with you. I'm loving the 2 FTP games from BoomZap and having to force myself to play my bought games. When I'm not playing the FTP, I'm playing Jigsaws Galore or Puzzle Express, 2 games acquired using pcc's. Maybe I'm just HOPA'd out. If there's a CE BOGO tomorrow, I think I'll give it a miss.
I've finished 4 chapters of Hidden Expedition - Devil's Triangle and will force myself to finish tomorrow.

I'm calling THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS PUZZLER done. I finished "Other" and finished Jigsaw and Rotate on medium difficulty. I'm Christmased out.
I started THE FAR KINGDOMS and am really liking it so far. Great graphics, interesting story.

For those who aren't yet "Christmased out", the free game today on Game Giveaway of the Day is Fishdom: Frosty Splash.
I love Fishdom but didn't get this one as I thought I already had enough of them (I think I have 3) so I'm really happy that it's free today!
Should you wish to get it, don't forget that you only have today to not only download it, but also to start the game, which automatically initialises it.

stusue...I tried both games again and you're right I like Alice better. It has a charm about it. I am still finding the HO scenes challenging and have you notice that the Cheshire cat that pops up between screens reminds you of Timebomb's avatar on PF. Right now I am doing the maze before I can see the Queen of Hearts.
I finished Deadly Voltage: Rise of the Invincible. A very good game. I didn't love it, but I did like it a lot. It was long, plenty of scenes, good story, plenty of stuff to do. The game was in sections so not too much back & forth.
sunshinej, I agree about the HOSs and that's why I don't mind so many of them, even though they're mostly just lists with maybe one simple interaction. But Timebomb's changed her avatar on PF to a ... can you guess? ... time bomb! But I think it's very similar to Cheshire Cat's last avatar on the Challengers site. You're past me in Alice now but I'm hoping to get a bit of play time in now as my sister's been chatting to one of her daughters for ages so I'll grab something to eat and continue before she finishes.
I also liked Deadly Voltage: Rise of the Invincible and yes, my comment next to the game on my list of FunPass Played Games is "very long". Wow, someone's actually mentioned a game I've actually played ... and finished! ** thud **

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, how on earth do you get through the maze????????????
How do you get to the heart in the top left of the maze? There's a bit of grass below it that I can't figure out how to move to get to it. Then, once you cross the heart, how on earth do you move the grass that's in front of the heart that will open so that you can get to the second spade so that you can open the small spade to continue. And, should you get that far, how on earth do you move the 3 grass squares in front of it to move forward?????????????????
I need heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp !
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!

stusue...Did you get through the maze yet? I treated it like a sokoban puzzle. Some of the ones you had to leave the grass on the symbol - like leave the grass on the heart symbol on the left side of the maze and for the others Alice had to touch the symbol herself for it to open up the pathway. I know I am not explaining it very well. I hope you can get through.

Thanks, sunshinej!!!!
Yes, I was playing it like a sokoban puzzle and I tried everything, like trying to pull the grass squares out of the way, and I even tried using the Vodoban (sp?) feather on everything! But the one thing I didn't try was putting the grass on top of the gate locks! I just assumed that Alice had to walk onto each gate lock. But you know what they say about what to assume makes out of you me...
So, as long as the next spade lock works the same with putting the grass on top of it, then I can get Alice out of the maze as I've already worked out how to get to the end once through that gate. I'll try it first thing in the morning. Thanks so much!

Stuesue, I finished Mysterium and I don´t recommend the CE
I was rather disappointed, it wasn´t as fun as in the beginning and I even found the graphics to be a little more foggy, maybe they got in a hurry? Anyway the bonus chapter was after the end but not necessary and it ended with getting a new case so there´s definately a sequel coming.
Regarding Witches Legacy: I want the CE because of the collectibles and I like Imp
Seriously it´s because of the collectibles, the fun puzzles and HOS and I like their graphics, its fun to get a continuation of the story(I have the other ones). I was sad when the demo ended.

Thanks so much for getting back to me, Anki.
So, do you even recommend the Mysterium SE? I'll have to demo Witches' Legacy and pay attention to the collectibles as I love ones that are interesting and hard to find.

I just finished the previous Witches Legacy SE and was disappointed in it. I thought the story would be good but after the beginning it just went nowhere. I haven't even bothered to demo the new one. But there can be a lot of difference, I didn't like the original Enigmatus and I loved the second one.
As for the FTPs I really like AK, ART, and Farm Up. Fairway, too, of course. I still haven't tried the mermaid/lagoon/M3 or whatever it is. I start off the day with them, they're nice for when I'm not really awake and ready for a real game. Now I started AK and ART on my laptop so I'm as busy as I want to be with them. I figure my bought games will always be there, the FTPs seem to be good for a month or two, and work nicely when you don't want to concentrate or only have 15 minutes.
