Re: Finish your games challenge

Ugh!  I started Small Town Terrors Livingston and I'm remembering everything so far.  So did I play it and finish it or did I just play the demo?  I remember trying to play it on my laptop but having cursor problems because it had some flickering fire scenes.  I thought I didn't play it but now I'm not sure.  I don't want to be playing something I already finished.  I tried to check on my laptop but it's not showing the game, although I could have deleted it or it could be on my external drive.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I decided to keep going with STT:Livingston since I was getting into it.  It's had several scenes where something jumps at you, so now I'm a little nervous when I click on stuff  Hubby's down the street with friends so I have the lights and TV off, playing it in the dark

When it comes to M3 games, if I play untimed I try not to use a powerup no matter how long it takes.  If I'm playing timed I'm quite liberal with them  I usually like to play timed, I don't mind replaying a level a zillion times.  When it comes to TMs, some of them I can manage, some are pretty hard for me.  Royal Envoy 3 that I'm playing is much easier to finish in time than the first one was.  I had to switch to untimed for a level in Cake Mania Max but it wouldn't let me premake cakes for the next day  and it kinda messed up the rest of the game and I've never really played it much after that.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I remember demoing Small Town Terrors Livingston a bunch of times and never wanting it. I liked it...but there was just something about it that bothered me like losing energy and needing to find packs but then never actually dying. whats the point then? I did get Pilgrims hook as a CE though. Haven't played it yet but its one of my dessert games.

I am not going to give in and do the MCF sale. a BOGOF sale will save me more with what I want.. SO Im waiting....impatiently waiting...

I had to do level 98 I believe of Spooky Bonus over because I missed a tile too! So don't feel bad! I put Laruaville on timed and I can see needing to put it on untimed in the near future and playing any game timed or untimed counts. I know I have made lots of progress this month in terms of game playing.

I fired up my sciatic nerve today. ahhhh!! Probably squatting down to watch a mother kitty feed her kitty. We went to the animal shelter to donate flea medicine and I was in the kitty room for awhile. 30 dogs got seized from a transients property and they were there too. All looked the same but some you could tell were crossbred but they needed care. So sad. But Im thinking about volunteering there being a "cat cuddler". Ive never seen a momma cat feed her young so it was really a special moment. Special enough that even though my sciatic nerve is up now, it was worth it. My favorite though was a 2 year old orange fluffy cat named Larry. I sooo wanted to bring him home but alas have to wait to get my apartment with James when immigration stuff is done. So hard to wait!!

Re: Finish your games challenge

Ohh, Meg, I want Larry, too.  I have my two dogs but I'm a cat person and if I ever get another one it will be an orange male.  I want to stick to two pets, though, because hubby got us evicted out of the last RV park and this is about the only one that allows 3 pets and I always worry now that he will get us evicted out of places.

Barre, did you replay Dollhouse first, did you feel like it was needed?

I'm about to give up Farm Up I think.  I say that but then I'm back at it again.  I'm up to level 40 and I have all my quests done.  There's still random quests, you can have 3 at a time.  Because I'm so advanced a lot of them are finished immediately by what I have in the barn, sometimes I need a whole lot of the same thing at the same time.  Those go on until level 55 and then ...nothing.  But I feel like I'm just doing nothing work now.

I got to the second section of Livingston last night, they're color coded which I think is neat.  A family crashed near a town and the wife is in a coma in the hospital.  Apparently the local chemical company, which has a govt. contract, has a mishap and zombies are the result.  I've woken up from my coma and managed to find my husband but he's turning into a zombie and ran away to protect me.

Happy Thanksgiving  TV just said it was our coldest morning since February.  It's in the high 30s and will only get into the 60s today and tomorrow, then back in the 70s.  In Florida the 60s feel like the 40s up north and my RV is surrounded by trees so I don't get any sun to warm me up.  It's nice to have the cool weather for just a couple days, though.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I managed to get thru level 96 of Spooky Bonus after two more tries. Now I'm on level 100, replaying, I was so close.

I also started Mayan Prophecies Cursed Island.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Everyone must be stuffing themselves with turkey, or perhaps indulging in a little MCF  I finished STT Livingston, I thought it was pretty good, it's a fairly realistic game, as BFG games go.  I like that kind.  The town is in sections so not too much backtracking and the task list would tell you exactly how to get something done if you pressed on the objective.  I'm also playing Zombie Solitaire, I'm up to level 58 with 100,000 coins and I haven't really used powerups but I don't have 3 stars on many boards, either.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I have finshed Save The Prince, it was OK.
A little annoying with gremlins coming in from all the sides to take your things, you had to chase them away. I even got an award for over 15 minutes on a level
Of course I played untimed...

I also finished Sparkle 2 (marble popper) I think megwoman mentioned it  some 100 pages ago...
It had been sitting in my GM "forever". It was very hectic, so I only played a few levels a a time. But it was easier than the first Sparkle which I never finished. The Powerups where very good.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Black Friday 2 for 1 sale.  My membership ends tomorrow, so do I take advantage now or wait for spring and rejoin and get the Monday punches  I would only get 2 CEs, Nevertales and probably Fate's Carnival.  I'm actually not even in much of a buying mood.  Is there any other CE out there that is really worth the extra GCC?
