I'm not sure I like the new look. Looks too simplistic for me.

I hadn't noticed it, I go right to the PC page. I think I might like it, I like all the drop downs, anyway.
I've been Mont Triste-ing it most of the evening, I'm Tristed out. It's easy to stop and start because it's in sections. Judging by the walkthrough I'm probably 3/5s done. Still really liking it.
Oscar, I've finished Dreamland and Royal Trouble. I thought they were both excellent games. RT doesn't have any HOs, it's a bright, fun, funny adventure lite with a soap opera style narrator... "How will the Princess get out of this mess?" I just loved it. IIRC, I think Dreamland might have been meant to be a CE, I think it has a bonus chapter. It's set in an amusement park and I liked it much better than Weird Tunes. I have but haven't played the other two games, and I'm debating the same thing with Stray Souls, should I replay the first one before playing the second? But then I feel I'm going backwards I do have to admit I downloaded Dire Grove just in case I decide to replay it. It was one of my first IHOGs.

sunshinej -- Not a huge fan of the new look. I finally found what I needed but it seems confusing.
I bought 2 CEs today: CURSERY & QUEEN'S TALE. The others will wait until the SEs come out.
oscar -- I'm still playing my 2 F2Ps, replaying LOST IN NIGHT and trying to finish THE BEAST OF LYCAN ISLE. So far this month I've only finished 2 games! Oh. And I'm playing NORTHERN TALE 2 and quite enjoying it!

Oscar, I couldn't seem to find a place to really use the lightening bolt in spooky bonus. Whenever, I couldn't get tiles in weird places, I would use that power up and hope it knocked something loose somewhere that would make it so I could get the ones I needed and a lot of times that strategy worked. It hardly ever gets the actual square you need. In fact I found a lot of the powerups weren't really that great. The crystal ball that gave you big pumpkins and fireworks would always put the items next to each other so when Id use one, Id lose the other. However, I was finally so happy to have a rearrange the board option.
I just stumbled upon the new look and I do like the drop down menus and it is cleaner. Other than that I don't notice a difference nor do I care. I only use that site to post reviews and download games and I usually just go to the mac homepage...
For weeks, I have been playing game after game and then this week I just stopped abruptly lol I am about to play the bonus chapter of Otherworld-Omens of Summer. I loved all the puzzles in this game, thats why I love boom zap games. Im downloading a bunch of games to try out. I am going to try the new Haunted Halls Ers game. I remember playing the first in this series when it came out and being blown away by the creativity and just absolutely loved it. Then I bought the 2nd one and thought it was boring and haven't bought one in the series since but I guess I could be swayed. I just hope n pray there are no cute, princess animals to name. For this series, it just doesn't fit.
Oh & I didn't cave into the sale. I spent the day catching up on my tv shows. When I do too many games then my tv shows fall behind and when I watch tv my games fall behind. I am completely caught up with Castle and after the first 4 episodes not doing it for me, I am sooo glad they turned things around to the way they used to be. Very good now.
xx

Meg, I see you didn't care for the new HH either. You made it farther than I did, though I quit at the first use of the glasses. I had decided I would start playing demos and reviewing again, but I'm not really ready to play games first thing in the morning, I like to cruise around my Farm Up, do some harvesting and replanting, come here and read, etc. Maybe I will try again later on, when I'm more awake.

Wendy - thanks for the info, I think Royal Trouble sounds like just what I need.
Meg - I'm glad it's. It just me re the lightning bolt! I played another 5 levels last night, ran out of time on one. I know what you mean about tv lagging behind. I have 4 weeks of Revenge and the Good Wife to watch. I am just wrapping up Castle, I think I have 7 more eps and then I am done season 5. Mix just started watching it from the first ep a few months ago,and I really enjoyed the series. Enough to watch it all over again! Love me some Nathan Filion.
I haven't demo'd the new Haunted Halls but I have liked all the games in the series, some more than others. I wonder if there is going to be another Spirits of Mystery game, I liked that series.
I finished Brunhilda last night and I'm happy to be done with it. It really got repetitious.
and the bfg website - i actually never noticed the change. I went back and took a look and I quite like it, except for the red felix next to my punchcard icon. why is it red, green i can see but red?

I went back and managed to get through half the demo of Haunted Halls. Lots to do, but none of it makes any sense. With the customizable options and the hint button set on instant recharge I just ended up hinting my way along. Belamba said it took less than 4 hrs. including the Bonus Chapter and the HO scenes go back to being regular ones after the demo. I don't understand these extras that are nothing, like what is that zoo? So you can look at the animals one more time, I guess. Collecting potions is supposed to be special? It's sitting there in the scene, of course you're going to click on it. Maybe I'm just not in the right mood, if I was slightly tipsy it would probably give me some good chuckles. It has great reviews on the game page.

I finished Dark Parables: The Final Cinderella CE. I loved it because it had such gorgeous graphics as usual.
Next up is Stray Souls: Stolen Memories.
In Call of The Ages, I completed the challenge levels for America, Italy, England, and Greece. I'm still working on China, Denmark, Japan, and Africa. Some of them are so difficult but I believe, with perseverance, I will prevail.

Wendy,I demo'ed Haunted Halls, and know I want it, though not right away. I know it doesn't make any sense, but I love that series! Maybe there's something about tentacles...
Barre, In Call of the Ages, I'm currently on level 66--Denmark? I confess I've left several failures in my wake, to go back to when the headache subsides. On the way, I replay in regular mode any levels with leftover bonuses. Maybe it's my masochistic streak, but I love that game! I finished the bonus game of Nevertales; having trouble accessing the hidden roses helper. Maybe a glitch? In any case, you sure get your money's worth; definitely worth the CE price.

I didn´t like the new Haunted Halls either, but I wanted to.
Just like Wendy I had the Hint set on the lowest level and just clicked when I got tired of searching. I just wanted the demo to end...
On the other hand I kind of liked Save The Prince, a love-hate relationship. I´m sure I´m gonna buy it on Monday
