Wendy- With Found you do get a bonus everyday. It is the only free to play I still have on my computer. I like it because you only play a few minutes at a time. It is definately not one you can play for a few hours at one stretch. I am also playing Rooms of Memory. It is a Free to Play but it is one of their online games and not downloadable (you need google chrome to play the online games not IE) that is the online games not the streaming games.

What do you guys think about Farmscapes (which is the DD today). I'm pretty sure I've seen that many of you have bought or played it. I have Gardenscapes and Gardenscapes Mansion Makeover but haven't played them yet. How does Farmscapes compare? Is it a must buy? I'm wanting to pull back a little bit from buying games at least for a month or two. I'll admit it is a little bit because of the bad feeling the whole forum thing left with me. But it's also due to needing to cut down on spending for a bit and the fact that I bought an awful lot of games during June and July and finished very few. So anyway I'm on the fence about Farmscapes…
And just adding to what everyone else said about Settlement Colossus. It's such a fun and different game. I haven't played all of it yet, but decided to buy it very soon into the trial.

Personally Jen I love Farmscapes and I play it for a bit almost every night. I dint think I would get into it because to earn money it is mainly match 3 boards. But there are some HO scenes and of course the farm to upgrade. There are three farms and achievements to earn. Once you complete the first farm there is very little dialogue n the other farms and no guests popping by having you do things. Give it a whirl. For 2.99 it is money well spent imo.

I've bought WAY more games from BFG than I'll ever play (over 500) so, I'm thinking I'm a sick-o hoarder.
And the only reason its not as big of a problem as many hoarders is that they stay on their virtual shelves and they aren't as obvious as if they were all lying about the house....
jkuci, you and I are BFG hoarders for sure; as I mentioned just recently, I have 700+ so the recent happenings at BFG is probably going to be a big help to me in that it cemented my need to cancel FINALLY. I love having them all as that was my intent when I joined in Dec 08 was to build a stock-pile for "retirement" and now that it's here, it's time to PLAY!!
teeitup-
Thats me as well. The last couple of years I was working I bought alot of games, movies and ebooks to stock up for the winter of my retirement (yes, exactly like a squirrel) .....and then I just kept on doing it.

Guess what? I actually finished a game. Gosh, it's been a while.
Patchworkz
Absolutely beautiful puzzle game. Straightforward, simple gameplay that kept me playing just "one more game." Each level starts out easy, then gets pretty challenging by the end. (I must have played that last metal round with the interlocking lizards dozens of times before getting 3 stars.)
Great sound effects, that are different for each medium you work with: glass, wood, stone, paper, fabric, and metal. Extra credit for the attention to the details, such as how stone fits together different from the way paper does because it's mortared rather than cut w/scissors.
It's a shame that it's quite buggy in some major ways. Not so much that I couldn't play, but enough to be quite annoying.
This is a game I would LOVE to see a sequel of.

Oh yes, I loved Patchworkz. I couldn't get all 3 stars for all the levels, so I didn't get that achievement. I loved all the different levels, including the bonus ones. A wonderful game for replay value. I shall have to play it all over again one day.

I just finished Deadtime Stories and loved it. Great art, great voiceover, interesting story (apparently based on a true story), challenging in places. I loved how the hint button outside of HOS let you chose which task you needed help with, and it just gave a nudge. I wish there was another in this series like the ending indicated, but since it's been 3 years, I'm not holding my breath. The only negative for me was it was a little short.

barre - yes, Patchworkz will be a game I go back to again and again.
Noelle - that hint system sounds great. So few games give 'hints' that are really just hints rather than 'here's exactly what to do next'. I like it when I'm able to figure stuff out for myself, but I don't like being frustratingly stuck. A well designed series of hints can be useful for that sweet spot in between.

I'm quite enjoying The Secret Order Masked Intent. The story follows the first one and is very fleshed out so far. Great map nice voice work and I am enjoying the puzzles. There have been a few ho scenes that are interactive as well or you can play mahjong instead. I imagine it will be several evenings of play.
Noelle have you played Dreamscapes Sandman? It's an excellent game.

Oscar, no, I haven't played it yet, but it's on my list. It will be a while before I get to it though, as I'm only in the middle of 2010. I'm trying to play all my games in order of release date (except in the case of a series) so the older games don't pale too badly in comparison to the newer ones. Next on my list is Tiger Eye Part 1 & 2. Has anyone played those?
