Re: Finish your games challenge

I had to repeat a number of boards in SPOOKY BONUS (especially in the 90s) but since I've never played an M3 timed before I was quite happy.  I was trying to find the post by the person who said they are playing ZOMBIE SOLITAIRE without using power-ups.  I'm blowing through power-ups but I'm getting through the game!

The only MCF I don't have is ESCAPE and I have no intention of getting that game.  I'm also looking forward to a new HIDDEN EXPEDITION in December.  It's been soooo long since we've had one.

I just looked and the first games I bought from BFG was HIDDEN EXPEDITION: TITANIC and BIG CITY ADVENTURE: SAN FRANCISCO.  both on June 2, 2008.

I was thrilled to see that TGT is NORTHERN TALE 2.  I loved the first one and hope this will be as good or better.  And they'd better have an untimed mode like last time.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I finished Nearwood Collector's Edition (missed finding 5 of the Snoop-sees) and started Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger.

First game purchased from BF was Mahjong Towers Eternity on December 21, 2009.  After that on Jan 2, 2010 DH picked out Flux Family Secrets: The Time Ripple (which I've dexed) and Hidden in Time: Mirror Mirror (which I hated).  Took until Jan 28 to talk myself into spending 19.95 to get Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove Collector's Edition.  By the end of 2010, I only owned 27 games.  Then things got out of control.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I think Big City Adventure was the first for a lot of people. I bought it May 2, 2007. Bought 7 games in 2007 and then didn't get any more until Dec. 2009. ( No internet for 2 years). Of course it has been non stop since then.

Started Otherworld: Fall. It is ok but I am having trouble keeping at it. Don't know if it is the game or just me.

Looking forward to a new Hidden Expedition. Hopefully it will be a good one for as long as we had to wait for it.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I just finished The Fifth Gate which I started in September.  I loved the beautiful flowers and it is a nice game except you have to do lots of fast clicking.....watering and collecting flowers, and squashing bugs.  This game is as much fun as Magic Farm: Ultimate Flower and Magic Farm: Fairy Lands.  One day in the future I will play all 3 of them again.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Gov, I didn't buy Otherworld Fall.  It did not impress me and didn't keep my interest during the demo so I decided not to get it.  I'm looking forward to a new Hidden Expeditiion too.

Lilyr, sandhan is the one who played Zombie Solitaire without using power-ups.

Re: Finish your games challenge

My first game purchases from BFG were MCF: Madame Fate and Dr. Lynch:  Grave Secrets in Dec. 2008 and MCF: Ravenhearst and MCF: Return to Ravenhearst in Feb. 2009.  I only used my GCC's until they first started offering the DD's in late July 2009 and then my CC started to groan and now 4 yrs later, it's finally quiet again.

I finished Nearwood CE and loved it.  I was amazed by the beauty of the game, especially the opening sequence and wondered how they were able to make it so realistic.  I also finished 1 Moment of Time: Silentville and liked it alot too.  Started 9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek and it's a strange game; can hardly stand to listen to the mayor and the HOS are pretty easy so should be finished soon.  Was making good progress on Imperial Island and up to Level 72, I think, when everything started to go in slow motion.   I looked in the forum and others were having the same trouble.  I updated some drivers but it is so slow that I doubt I will be able to finish it and I really liked it alot.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I finished Spooky Bonus and I played timed. I didn't think Id have to repeat a level but then 99 and 100 were almost impossible. I had to play them multiple times each. Level 100 took me 5 tries. It only gives you like 5 minutes and all the rest were 7+ minutes. Whats up with that!? AND I was still $200 short to buy the alien thing for my house but I was done so I just deleted it anyway

I am playing Surface-the soaring city CE and Im in love. What is it with elephant games that just sweep you away? I played this for 5 hour straight last night. Im near the end but not quite and I still have the bonus. Great 5 star game like always. Love how items you pick up help in the hidden object scenes.

Re: Finish your games challenge

First game I ever bought was G.H.O.S.T. Hunters: The Haunting of Majesty Manor and according to the game manager, I bought it on 12/24/07 hmm happy christmas to me? I remember roaming the internet one night thinking about games that move when you touch them and how this arthur game I had as a kid did that like if you touched the spoon, it would stir the cookies and so I was looking for games like that and stumbled upon hidden object games. I remember my eyes lighting up and going "OMG I hit the jackpot" LOL

Then I didn't buy anything again until 6/5/09 which is my birthday.. and I got Hidden Expedition-Amazon although I never finished it until recently lol Then i got Book of Legends, Adventure Chronicles-Search for lost treasure & Mystery Case Files-Return to Ravenhurst & Serpent of Isis. I enjoyed all of those except Serpent. But then I bought Escape the Museum and to this day, its one of my most hated games. I played it a year ago just to do it but its soooo hard to see the items and you get limited hints.

I left BFG at that point because I was rarely home. Worked a lot but I came back 10/02/09 and bought Vampire Saga-Pandora's box on PC since I was borrowing my ex boyfriends laptop after my accident! That game brought me back to BF and the sequels have been soooo disappointing! and Id only buy 1 game a month with the game credit unless there was a $4.99 sale on SEs...but then in 2011, I learnt about the punch system and well...my game collection got a little bit out of control....just a little though.....HAHA

I am caught up on all my games through 5/2011 except for the ones that are for the pc and I can't play. Past that though, I am still working on it lol

Re: Finish your games challenge

Oscar, my first one was Mystery Case Files: Huntsville. I did the beta for it and was eagerly waiting for the release day(Dec 1 2005). At first it was called CCI: Huntsville. On another site I called it  I Spy for adults Little did I know what was waiting...
I bought a jumbo-pack () and the other ones were: Fairies, Mahjong Towers Eternity, Wonderlines and Jewel of Atlantis. Spread out over 4 months.
I was a member at Real Arcade back then and left and moved over to BFG .

Re: Finish your games challenge

I have finished Imperial Island and Kingdom Tales.  I know you all love Imperial but I could only play a few levels at a time. Kingdom Tales have been sitting half way through in my GM since July.
I have continued with Sherlock Holmes VS Arsene Lupin and my last save before was May 12!
But I take it in small pieces...

I also started Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood CE and like it very much.
