Tirama, you are making such fast progress on SC. I haven't even got any planks, and of course don't even have a bakery.

I just finished Chapter 5 of SC.
I think the demise of CCC was a good thing for me personally. I was spending too much time reading threads and getting affected by the negativity in some of them. I feel so much more focused now, even though I'm posting more in here. Or maybe it's just all that all the medication I took for the dental work has finally exited my body. Whatever it is, it feels good.
Also, I haven't spent as much time playing Jigsaws Galore and Scrabble since there was nothing on BBC radio 4 I wanted to listen to this week.

Tirama, I'm glad that you are feeling better. I have been spending too much time in the forums lately, here and at Gov's place., neglected my games, so I'm going to play games now.
Goodnight and see you tomorrow.

I'm glad you're better Tiramu!! And, thanks again, for keeping all us Finish Challenge folks together. I feel quite at home.
I'm measuring for drapes, painting the walls and ceiling (cool calm green) and moving my big old recliner in here.

I decided to re-play Settlement Colossus, but it's not on my purchased list. Rats! I must have bought it Elsewhere, that prehistoric gaming company before BF. I downloaded the demo; it's even better than I remembered. Guess I'll wait for a good sale, or maybe Monday, & buy it again.
And I see the game forums are up again.

What type of game is Settlement Colossus? I though it was a type of HO game or is it a builder game.

barregar, jkuci - thanks for you kind posts about my health.
And thanks to everybody for their kind messages about this place. I'm glad just about everybody found their way here, and I hope everybody sticks around. I'm going to try and contact Dex and PM Puzzled again. Se's under the impression she gave me her e-mail address but she hadn't, so if any of you do have, maybe you could e-mail her and ask her to check her BF PM's.
It's a bit ironic that after all the angst regarding privileges for the few, many people have wound up on forums started by BF customers and now have all those privileges (avatars, signatures, ability to post links, etc).
I see Hondo has been answering blog messages and has directed people to check out one of those new forums. I hope he has that forum's administrator's permission to do so. Moderating can be a big time suck (and a thankless task) when there's a lot of people with diverse interests sharing the same forum. Whereas this forum will probably moderate itself, since we had been together on our BF thread for so long without problems.
To make this game relevant: I'm really enjoying Settlement: Colossus because I have so much freedom to chose what to do in the order I feel like. Any other games like this?

Hi, everybody
My you all have been busy over here. I've been spending my time at the other sites, haven't really played any games. Referring to the pc/mobile market, 4 million pc users is still 40% of the market, that's not going to be ignored anytime soon. Smartphones and tablets are just now hitting the masses, after everyone gets over the initial delirium of them, I think their gaming use will wither. When I first got mine I d/l every game I could get my hands on, now I just play solitaire on it and haven't d/l an app in forever.
oh, yeah, game stuff. I've been spending most of my time getting u;sed to new forums, I'm still playing Puzzle Quest 2 and I started the Free to Play game Found, or Lost, or something like that. I only played a half hour, no opinions on it yet. It said you get rewards for playing each day, like Gamehouse did with the sign ins

Settlement Colossus is a hidden object game but also a builder. You start out with a small settlement and you gather resources like food, wood, etc, and slowly your settlement grows, it goes through a timeline as the chapters progress. You can wander anywhere you like and choose any task to do, whichever one you feel like doing. The hidden object scenes are very beautiful to look at, very realistic, not your usual HOS. There are mini-games to play, puzzles to solve, buildings to upgrade, etc. It is not timed, you go at your own pace. I play whenever I feel like it so it is my inbetween game. It is rather an older game so maybe you can use a pcc on it, if you care to try it?

Thanks Barre...It sounds interesting enough to try it and I heard nothing but good things about it. I never tried a builder game before so that will be something new to learn.
