Re: Finish your games challenge

I'm pretty sure that's it, Sunshine, I was looking under "S", that's what I thought it started with.  It's on my external drive, I'll have to get it hooked up and play it next week.  Thank you, and thanks for trying Anki.  Has anyone played it?  It seemed like it would be kinda spooky.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I'll have to dust that one off as well, I have it but haven't played it.

I finished all, bonus included, of Dark Dimensions City of Fog.  It wasn't a very taxing game at all.  Had some nice puzzles and I did enjoy the interactive features in the HO scenes.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I started The Beast of Lycan Isle.  I gave the demo a bad review so I have no idea why I ended up buying it  It's not quite as bad as I remembered at least, but it's not good either.  I figured with the werewolves it would be fitting for a Halloween game.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I started 9 Clues Serpent's Creek tonight.  So far it's got some interesting details to it.  I always seem to enjoy the quirky games out of Artifex Mundi.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I finished  7 Seas Solitaire  yet again,  but can't bring myself to delete it yet;  it's really tempting to play it again.  I thought maybe Solitaire Mystery would replace it,  but not sure yet.  I like it mostly,  but wish we could change graphics on cards;  it's sometimes hard to tell what they are.  And so far,  no wild cards or other extras,  that I've seen.
The hop I did was interesting,  but items very hard to find.
I'm playing  When Angels Cry,  which I got as a DD.  It's pretty good,  nothing fancy though.
I really like  Zombie Solitaire;  will probably get it Monday.

Re: Finish your games challenge

My Playrix newsletter  has Solitaire Mystery 4 Seasons on sale this weekend for $3.99.
I liked When Angels Cry, but it was very... brown  No HOs as I remember, I like the adventure light games.
Most of the way through Lycan Isle, I should finish tonight.  I have to stop them from sacrificing my friend during the full moon tonight.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Not great, Oscar.  I have just enough money to make it through the winter if it was just me, hubby doesn't seem to understand a budget.  He applied for Walmart today or yesterday and got a phone call to come back Monday so I hope he gets hired.  Even if it's just for the Xmas season at least it would be something.
Finished Beast of Lycan Isle.  The easy mode was stupidly easy.  There were lots and lots of scenes with only one thing in them, there were even a few scenes that had absolutely nothing to do in them.  I like games with lots of stuff in each room.  The puzzles were mostly insultingly easy, too, but there were a couple harder ones.  I'd give it a "C" at best, but the scene changes were very quick and my machine handled the graphics well, so that's a plus.

Re: Finish your games challenge

It's looking more and more like a repeat of last year, with SE buyers offered sales in which they can use GCC's, and those who prefer CE's having to dip their hands into their wallets and still not get the same percentage off.

I probably won't get anything on Monday either.  I 'll wait until next Monday to redeem my 2 expiring pcc's, then wait until the 28th to fill the card.
