Re: Finish your games challenge

Oscar,  I loved  Marcus' Memory!  It was really hard to see the collectibles,  though,  so it's just as well I'm not passionate about getting them all.  The shells were easier,  and I managed to get enough to buy the dolphin toys and outfit the aquarium.  The turtles,  etc,  I'm afraid I found by dumb luck.

For those of you that don't have the first Enigmatis - Maple Creek, here is a free code to get it straight from Artifex Mundi.

MAPLECREEK-GEBQ25FS

I think someone mentionned this alread, but I received an email re NIghtmares of the Deep 3 and it is directing you to Steam to push the game to be sold there.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Just finished  Nightmares of the Deep  the Siren's Call;  loved it,  and am enjoying the bonus chapter.  My  "finding the collectibles"  record,  though,  is abysmal.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I just finished Dark Dimensions-Wax Beauty SE, totally old school game, but I loved it. I remember beta testing this one which means this is ancient because that meant I had my computer partitioned and had the pc/mac combo going on. Wish I had played this sooner, I LOVE their hidden object scenes. SO interactive and fun~!!

For the elephant sale, I ended up buying Grim Tales-Bloody Mary CE & Riddles of Fate-Wild Hunt CE. Although the surface one appealed to me, I absolutely hated the bonus section. I got to open up one of those portals when I played and its just replaying all the mini games and puzzles from the game itself. I found no point to it and decided Id get the SE later on. Surface isn't one of my favorites anyways, the first one was sooo long that I got lost, hated the 2nd one and didn't buy it, I own the 3rd one and haven't played it yet...you get the point LOL

Im torn because I want the new Enigmatis game like so so so bad! The first one, is one of my all time fav games and that coupon code is so tempting BUT its so close to the end of the month! What if this weekend we have a bogo? there is another CE I want too so I think I will just have to be patient. Not like I don't have enough games to play.

Oh I finally finished Legends of Atlantis-Exodus. It was fun but I finished the game not getting expert in everything and was ok with it.

No idea what Im going to start next but Im digging into my dessert games, so I hope it will be something good.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I'm really starting to think BFG isn't going to give us a BOGO sale for quite a while. They started the weekend sale today and it's 50% off retai. So $9.99 for CE and $4.99 for SE. Crappy.

Got that feeling 2 weekends ago.  Trying to get mentally prepared to wait until Christmas like last year.  Bummer because I was really looking forward to the new Enigmatis.  Looking on the bright side, it's not as if I can play it now - I want to replay the first one and there's not enough time before we start to play Nancy Drew.

Need to find 2 SE's to get on Mnday to complete my card.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I finished Mystery Age: the Dark Priests and will be starting on Mystery Age: Liberation of Souls tonight.

I thought for sure the CE BOGO would be this weekend.  Tirama, I guess you're right in saying we will have to wait until Christmas holidays.

Oscar...Thanks for the heads up on getting the first Enigmatis for free. I checked and already had it.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Yeah, I am preparing myself too for a long wait for the next BOGO sale. Oh well. I may not get much without a BOGO sale for the next little while. I can try and catch up more on the games I already have lol.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I demoed the new Enigmatis: Mists of Ravenwood CE....Wow!!  it's really exciting, with a creepy atmosphere, interesting puzzles, and it made me think of Hannibal with that guy in the cell (totally unrelated, jmo).  Won't say anymore but I will say that this one is a must-buy, definitely as a CE.  Just waiting for the next BOGO.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I want a few CEs too (the new Enigmatis being one) but I'll wait for a real BOGOF.  Seems as though BFG has had a lot of "cash only" sales ince they started pushing FTP and dumped the CCC.

I am STILL playing CATE WEST: THE VANISHING FILES.  I just started chapter 14!  And each chapter has regular HOG scenes, FTD, FROGs and replace the items.  And THEN you have to find the guilty person!  i am enjoying this old-school game though.

I tried the FTP ANTIQUE ROAD TRIP.  It's okay but I would rather have purchased the game.  I won't spend any RL money on it.  So far you can progress a bit each time you play as long as you let your energy build up again.
