I decided to play Farmington Tales instead of the Jane Austen game. I've already completed 8 games this month and don't plan to buy more than a total of 8, so I'll at least be even for the month, so it seemed like a good time to play a longish game. If it takes me as long as Lagoona did, it will yake me about a week.

TiramaSue - what game is Lagoona? I'm blanking.
Unless we have a BOGO CE sale I don't think I'll be buying anything else this month. We shall see though. Hopefully we get one this weekend.

Hi all!
Wendy -- That's the only Treasure Seekers that I've played too. I wasn't sure if I had, restarted, got to the same spot and Dex'd it! Someone (here?) mentioned how good Inbetween Lands was. I ran right off to buy it and found I already own it.
Haven't played it as yet.
meg -- CS report sent on BEDTIME STORIES (complete with Dr. Felix). I'll let you know what they say. Darn! I was looking forward to DETECTIVE QUEST.
I had another game in my manager so I tried it since I can't play BEDTIME STORIES. It's TALES OF SORROW: STRAWSBROUGH TOWN. I'm quite enjoying it. for once you play as a male trying to rescue his fiancee. It's VERY linear so most of you probably wouldn't like it. Although it's a good game to play one scene at a time.

misscatlady -- TALES OF LAGOONA: ORPHANS OF THE SEA. It's sort of a HOG/builder game. sort of like GARDENSCAPES. It is fun and very long.
YAY Anki and sunshinej and Tirama for finishing so many games.
I have 2 punches left so I will buy 2 more games using PCCs on Monday.

Farmington Tales is by the same devs as Tales of Lagoona and the Chronicals of Albion games. And the guy bying the junk you find must be related to the guy running the shop in Chronicals - he's just as annoying.
I have 2 punches on my card and I'm hoping for a CE BOGO on the weekend. If I wait until Bonus Punch Monday and teh weekend code still works, that will give me 16 punches - 4 to fill current card, and 12 to fill 2 more cards.
If not this weekend, I'd try again the following weekend.

I finished the main game of Sunhook Spire last night. It was a nice game. A few different twists on old puzzles and the HO scenes. I didn't get all the under an hour per chapter achievement or the under 4 hours total game play, I think. I was at 4 hr 25 min. I refuse to rush to get achievements. The puzzles were all pretty straightforward. I didn't use instructions so that I could get that achievement. Most of them were pretty clear on what was required except one. You had a bunch of bottles and I thought maybe it was in order of height, but it wasn't. After looking at it for a couple of minutes you can figure out what is needed.
For me I think I've only completed three games this month. And I have all those games mentioned above, Inbetween Land, tales of Lagoona etc. I really want to get that Playrix game coming out tomorrow but not sure when it will hit BFG. Boy is that site quiet. I went to check out the new Surface game and there is very little comment (or was).
If I remember correctly I was not a huge fan of Detective Quest either. But of course I can't go back to read my post!
Has anyone demo'd the new Surface yet? I love the first one and the Noise she couldn't make even more. Soaring city was just okay.

The Surface games don't appeal to me at all. Not sure why. What game from Playrix is coming out tomorrow? Is it just going to be a SE game?
ETA: Nevermind. I looked on their Facebook page. Not a fan of Match 3 games. I don't really like that style of game play.

Misscat I am not a huge fan of match 3 either but I did love Farmscapes so I'm more than willing to give this a go. I posted a YouTube of it in the coming to a computer thread. It is more than just match 3.
If you do decide to try a Surface game I'd say definitely try the noise she could not hear.

I finished The Chinese Healer, and was sorry to see it end. For once, was almost sorry I hadn't bought the CE. What was the bonus like, anyone who played it?
Just started the second Fierce Tales, Marcus' Memory, and I'm already hooked, so to speak. I love the hint at Lovecraft, I love dolphins. I love that there's actually something to do with collectibles.
I also finished Heartwild Solitaire, & Laruaville.
