I sent an airship with 300 wheels but only 98 items required. BTW, that ship came in this morning and I was holding it for a DQ, I never checked the number of items BEFORE GMT new day began. Not sure if they CHANGED in number, but I assume not.
TSue, have you always added them up...or just happen to notice this time?

I had not been checking them during the CC, just looked at the number of wheels.
When the new day arrived, I looked at the ship in game #1, saw the number of wheels, and couldn't make up my mind whether to use it or send it away empty. Decided to check out game #2 before making a decision.
When I checked that ship, the amount of items didn't look right for 342 wheels. I wondered if the developers had put a cap on the number of items (but left the number of wheels alone, which would work out nicely for anybody who completes Three Days). Went back to check game #1 and discovered that I was being asked for too many items for the amount of wheels.
Really not sure what this change is supposed to accomplish. If there's a cap of 100 per ship, that is good. But not if it means we will be packing extra in ships worth less than 300 wheels.

Just called back the airship. This time the number of items is correct for the number of wheels. 84/252.
Called it back another two times. Ship for 297 wheels requested 99 items, the correct amount
Ship for 306 wheels requested 102 items, the correct amount.
So, it looks like the first ship after the end of the winter event was a glitch. No cap on the number of items - the sky is still the limit.

The events are exactly the same for everyone on the same device. Sometimes an event may start for PC before it starts for android or iOS.
As long as the developers don't change the spring room again and there isn't another glitch, your friends should be able to play your spring room as soon as the event opens.

I have two questions and wondering if someone could help.
1) Due to the different times zones be they in the US or other countries do the seasonal events start and end at the exact same time?
2) If I change my room to the Spring Room now will others be able to play the HO Rooms if I don't make it in on time for the spring event and do the update for it?
This is probably more info than you may want, but …
Each platform (PC, iOS, Android) receives its own update. Because Apple, GooglePlay, and Amazon have to approve the updates for the mobile devices, there are times when the various platforms will not start an event at the same time.
Within each platform, an event will start and end at the exact same time - which is midnight GMT (for me on the East Coast, that is currently 7 PM). Elephant Games tends to the start of an event into their programming, so on occasion, after downloading the update for the event, the event will already be in progress instead of kicking off at midnight GMT.
Will friends be able to access your Spring room if you haven't downloaded the applicable update? Maybe, maybe not. No way to predict what the developers may change.
Last year, the Spring Event started on March 23 (Easter occurred on April 1). This year, Easter falls on April 21, so the Spring Event could start later. Or maybe, the event will be wrapping up as Easter arrives.

How many energy units do you hold in reserve? I've not run very many amulets and decided to use the no cooldown amulet aggressively between the end of the winter event and the start of the spring event but I don't know if they are of significant advantage anywhere other than the DQs.

I haven't set a minimum for energy units, which probably means I haven't run them down low enough to feel anxious about them.
As to whether they are useful for anything other than DQ's, it would depend on the player. Some people who have trouble seeing the morphing flowers have used an amulet to help them get through timed morphing CC tasks. Others have used an amulet during the seasonal events to help them collect all the flying objects.
It's possible a player might use an amulet during a CC if they had fallen behind and was running out of time to catch up. I've only used the no cool down time for HOS amulet, and don't anticipate needing to use any of the others. So I think I'd like to have 300 energy units in reserve when a CC rolled around. If I used any of the other amulets, I think I'd feel comfortable having 500 energy units in my inventory at all times.

I too have only used the no cool down amulet, even though I bought the others. You might know by now that I'm not really a hoarder so my "reserve" just happens to be whatever I have, but I DO try to use them wisely. I haven;t been very diligent in getting the daily 20 recently.
I agree with TiramaSue...300 to 500 is a good figure to keep AT OUR LEVEL. For YOU, because your available HOS are fewer and DQs will send you to those areas more often, I'd keep AT LEAST the 500 for DQs and CCs.
I see you've been on quite a run lately...great job!

What do you do regarding pet medallions? Do you have a huge stockpile of them or do you craft pet food (even if there's no reason, such as a DQ or CC task) when they exceed a certain amount?

Kinda the same for pet medallions...I don't consciously hoard them. By concentrating on the DQs for so long I hover at 3000 most of the time. I only craft simple pet food when asked, whether DQ or CC, EXCEPT (smack myself on the hand) when I'm desperate for exclusive pet food and/or airship items...which can be quite often.
Is there another item that would fall from that pet medallion slot if my numbers were lower? If my game had been played differently, I probably wouldn't be so "rich" in stamps, all other pet food, and pet medallions...or dirt poor in diamonds, exclusive pet food and and airship items.
