I'm concerned that we're going to get a mandatory update and be dropped into the event and perhaps into the castle challenge and if we haven't completed the DQ we were working on, oh well, too bad so sad.

And yes, I hate looking at Christmas trees and Santas after Jan 6.

FYI

When the day rolled over and a new year began, all of the indicators showing whether a player is active turned green.  It will be another 7 days before anybody goes back to red.  Something to keep in mind when gifting.

There's a flaw in the idea that taking down your wish list will allow you to get caught up on gifting after yesterday's server problems caused many people to miss a gift slot or two (depending upon where in the world they live).  Just about all of my friends have taken down their lists and I don't have five friends with lists up.  

Going to put my list back up, and if anybody is unhappy about how long it takes me to cycle round to  gifting them, they can always use the delete button.

I had taken my wish lists down in both my games before the server problems because I was getting stressed.  Really annoyed about the rooms needing to be reset.  I have kept some friends who were not playing any more because their rooms were set to the first Spring Room.  Guess I'm going to need to do a purge once everything settles down.
 

I just sent an airship but didn't pay attention to the items. I'll be sending another in an hour so I'll look then.

The airship was as it should be.
