Re: Finish your games challenge

sandhan, I don't know why you couldn't use your pcc....to get the sale price you must have entered the sale price code, right?  well, I entered my pcc code and it was accepted.  If I didn't enter the pcc code, it would automatically charge me the full member's price.
Congrats on finishing Twilight Phenomena: Strange Menagerie CE.  I don't feel like getting moe ERS games so I didn't get it.

I also love how Playrix now does Adventure games. I demoed Namariel Legends-Iron Lord and LOVED it. A Definite buy!

Playrix has some good deals if you subscribe to their newletter.  It's a pain having games from different places, though.  I bought the Dreamscapes Premium edition from them for $4.99 and loved it.  I've also had offers for the Premium editions of Barnscapes, Gardenscapes, etc. for the same $4.99.  I think they keep their games exclusive for awhile, and then only give BFG the SE version.  It seems they put the Premium on sale shortly before the SE is offered at BFG.  Namariel sounds great, but I have to wait until I get home to d/l that huge puppy!
I'm getting a copy of the old GM from ShadowGamePlayer; he says if you d/l a new game or demo it overwrites it, but I'm not going to be able to do that for 6 weeks so it will give me a good chance to compare the two,

Hey, I finally finished Red Riding Hood CE.  It was good, but not spectacular.  Some minigames repeated, one in particular that I didn't like.  Slide marbles around the board until they hit the matching color.  You had to do it twice each time.  I did the first, easier one, then would skip when the harder one came up.  The FRAGs were much duller in this one.  Still pretty, but a lot of brown, silver and gold coloring.  It had a decent storyline to it, and I liked reading the parables.  I give it 4 stars.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Today I bought :
The Snow
Imperial Island: Birth of an Empire, both with pccs.
I am not completing my card today because that would give me a lousy date for my next pcc.  I will wait until next Monday and then I will get:
Forest Legends: Call of Love.  (I like the fairytale story and artwork)

I got the same games, barre and then got Nancy Drew, Shadow at the Water's Edge but got an access violation when it tried to activate.  Uninstalled and DL again and same thing happened so sent off a note to CS.  Probably will be three days before I hear from them so doubt I will be able to play that when there is a group play.  Ever since I got Windows 7, 64 bit on my computer last Sept., I have had a lot of issues with access violations.  Didn't want to use up all my PCC's this week in case there are more SE's released but by the 20th, they will all be gone.  Will just make a list of games that look interesting and then when the new MCF is released, will rejoin, buy it and any that look too hard to pass up and cancel again.

Finished Order of the Rose.   I enjoyed it, but the ending was a letdown.

DIdn't get any games today.  Nothing was calling my name. Going to play Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Gold Bug Collector's Edition and Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Masque of the Red Death Collector's Edition next.

I was just going to use a couple of PCCs since it's bonus punch Monday but they still have good dates.  Lord knows I've got plenty of games!

Re: Finish your games challenge

Hey Tee, the group play that we are having this coming Saturday, 7 Sept. is Green Moon.  I believe you have that game?  We haven't decided or voted to play the ND game yet.  Nothing is finalised until we finish Green Moon.

Hey Lilyr, were you the one who liked Lost in Night?  Did you try Lost in Reefs 2?  I tried it and it is so similar to Lost in Night, the exact gameplay and even some of the tokens look the same.  The only difference is the background.  I think Lost in Night had cute and whimsical buildings whereas Lost in Reef 2 has muted colors and the buildings don't look that nice.  I got bored playing the demo.  I didn't even finish the first Lost in Reef that I own.  I doubt I will buy the sequel.  I've already bought 2 wonderful M3s, and I like Imperial Island a lot., it's fun, with so many trophies to collect !!

Re: Finish your games challenge

Hey, did you all see the Eipix 50% Off sale today?  That is so tempting.  I am dying to get Sea of Lies CE and Hansel and Gretel CE....then I thought, no bonus punches since it's not on BP Monday, so should I wait for a BOGO sale weekend and maybe buy on BP Monday, or should I just go ahead and buy it today?.....decisions, decision.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Totally enjoyed Nearwood and was sorry to see it end.  A game I would definitely replay for a variety of reasons.  Haven't picked out my next to play yet.

I did pick up two Eipix games today in the sale, but nothing over the weekend.  Sea of Mutiny and Hansel and Gretel.
