That is what I was wondering too.  I tried a couple of times on Tuesday and each time it said that there was a problem.

It might have been because I typed the code wrong in the list of sales.    I had a space between FREE and CE.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Oscar, hurricane Matthew didn't really affect us.  It stayed far enough east that the eye wall didn't touch the South Florida coast.  We didn't even get much rain.

I managed to finish Final Cut: Fame Fatale Collector's Edition.

Restarted and completed the first chapter and closed the game to go check out MC.  When I opened Fame Fatale, I was greeting with a message telling me my profile was corrupted and I'd have to start over with a new profile.  Called the new profile 'annoyed' and third time was the charm.  Didn't bother with replaying the hidden object scenes to get the achievement because I was really tired of playing the first ones, and the achievement for playing M3 didn't register.  Just glad that game is behind me.

I had hoped to finish Final Cut: Fade to Black Collector's Edition before the weekend.  We're leaving Saturday morning for 9-10 days.  Going to take the scenic route (via Atlanta and Chattanooga) up to Long Island.

I debated about getting 2 games in Monday's sale but talked myself out of it.  I'm not having much luck talking myself out of today's super sale.

Tirama, I tried it both ways...with the space and then without.  Nada both times.  It was my fault for not getting them on Monday.  I hesitated because I wanted both Mad Head Games and then I thought I should at least look at the latest Phantasmat game and got busy and forgot getting them.

Oscar...I see that you liked Spyro, too.  What fun those games were.  Exploring different areas, collecting gems with your little dragonfly friend at your side and running after the sheep.

Thanks.  I'm taking my laptop with me, so I'll be able to pop in and say hello in the evenings.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Have a great trip, TiramaSue.

I've finished Spirits of Mystery: The Silver Arrow PE and  Laruaville 3. Loved The Silver Arrow. I had played the SE before and didn't much rate it, shows how an idea of a game can differ when one is in a different mood! Also liked Laruaville 3 a lot once I realised how to move the power-ups about! Struggling to know what to spend GH credits on so might start getting the Laruaville series, I really like them and I'm not that big of a fan of Match 3 but these I would play over and over.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Enjoy your holiday Tirama.

I was quite surprised to find that I had not dl a game since early September.  I now have 23 games in my queue.

I finished Dark Parables Swan Princess and the Dire Tree the other day and really felt is was all over the place.  The Swan Princes is my favourite fairy tale.  Of course this was nothing like it but it was really missing something for me.  I didn't even bother with the extras or bonus chapter.  I was happy it was over. ( I will say I loved those connector puzzles in the columns once you place the runes)

Currently I am playing Phantasmat The Endless Night and enjoying it.  The artwork is really topnotch.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Have fun on your trip, tirama.

I finished MCF: Shadow Lake.  I had mixed feeling about this one.  1.  I didn't think it was horrible and I liked the live actors.  2.  I thought it was repetitive.  Finding those drawings the psychic gives you and searching the town to try to match the drawings and doing that awful floating jigsaw in her head when you can hardly move those pieces around over and over again...lather, rinse, repeat.

I started on 9: The Dark Side.

It seems like the codes not working the day after may have only been last week.

From what I read here, last weekend's code didn't work on Tuesday.  So I tried using Wednesday's code on Thursday (even though I wasn't getting anything) and, just like on Tuesday, it didn't work.

However, I tried using both weekend codes today (straight after midnight BFG time and again just now) and both codes worked.

So why no codes worked the day after last week but both the SE and CE codes worked today I don't know.  The only difference I can think of is that this weekend's code was off retail price and last week's codes were both $6.99 (one BOGOF, one 65% off).
