Yesterday, I managed to play the main game of Dark Parables: The Thief and the Tinderbox CE.
All 6 hours and 45 minutes of it!!
Even though I don't think it's as good as the last Dark Parables (although that could be partly due to how sick I was when I played it), and I was a bit lost sometimes as to why I was doing something, I definitely recommend it, but I can't comment on CE versus SE as I haven't played the bonus game yet.

Hope you feel better soon, stusue. I have been playing Epistory every chance I get. I just love the game. I have just finished the 6th subworld Crystalline Mine. Just two more subworlds left to do and then I'll feel a loss of playing this fantastic game when I am done.
Thanks for the review on Nevertales; Hidden Doorways. I was debating to use 2 credits to get both of the Mad Head games CE versions and seeing all the extras with Hidden Doorways, I think I will take advantage of this sale.
Sunshine, no problemo! And thanks!
You certainly get a lot more extras in Nevertales than in most other games!
So, have you finished Epistory yet?
Do you have any idea how long it was? And what do you think of the ending?
Do you actually remember the story at the end? Is it written down anywhere so you can read it?

I'm so sorry you're still feeling so bad. Hope your illness takes pity on you soon and lightens up. You are always on my prayer list.
All of the reasons you didn't think BROKEN TOWER was for you sounded great for me! I definitely want a mouse and a separate, "real" keyboard with whatever new computer I buy. I don't even like swiping to turn pages on my Kindle.

I wrote a longer answer for you stusue, but I lost it while submitting it.
Yes, I am finished. I did the last bit this morning. It ends in the subworld Lost Desert. After doing the last typing battle a gate opens up and you just know by going down that way you are headed towards the ending. so if you don't want the game to end because you are still exploring the Lost Desert don't go down that way. That is what I did because I did not find all the chests yet in there. I wouldn't even do the Lost Desert until you are sure you don't want to explore the Bridge any longer or any of the other subworlds because I don't think you can get back to them once you entered the Lost Desert. You can 't read the story all in one go since it is not written down like that.
I just loved the typing battles...I had a approximate 30 letter word in one of them. I was typing like crazy while this snakelike creature kept coming closer and closer.
I give this game high marks for being different and fun and addicting. I loved the exploring part of it. It makes me want to bring out my old Spyro game from Playstation and play it again.
I don't want to say too much about the ending, so not to give anything away. Except to say that It does have a ending that makes sense.

I wasn't able to do the sale and get both Mad Head Games on Monday. I waited too long and missed it and forgot it before I went to sleep. On Tuesday I tried getting them and using the code and it wouldn't work. So, need to wait for next bogo sale.

I love Spyro! Those were some great games.
I hope all is well with everyone, especially those that have to deal with this nasty weather. Has Tirama checked in today? Maybe on MC?
I have not been playing much at all I've been so tired at night and much going on. I did start Dark Parables Swan/Dire Tree (I find it a little convoluted) and I've been picking away at it since the beginning of the month along with playing Gizmos Halloween. I hope BFG gets the new Gizmo soon so I can check it out. (Although I could do so on GH too, I always forget about my account there).

sun -- You mean BFG is finally catching on about codes being good the day after?

I know it was just barely October, but I couldn't wait to play SPOOKY BONUS again. I limited myself to no more than 10 (or so) levels a day. Boy I love that game! I played it untimed, now I'm playing timed.

I've now finished:
Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood PE
Laruaville 2
Mysterium: Lake Bliss PE
Fiction Fixers: Adventures in Wonderland
Secret Trails: Frozen Heart PE
I enjoyed Laruaville 2 the most! Quite enjoyed Secret Trails but the bonus chapter was very short.
Really hope you feel better soon, Stu
