Hope you feel better soon, stusue.   I have been playing Epistory every chance I get.  I just love the game.  I have just finished the 6th subworld  Crystalline Mine.  Just two more subworlds left to do and then I'll feel a loss of playing this fantastic game when I am done. 

Thanks for the review on Nevertales;  Hidden Doorways.  I was debating to use 2 credits to get both of the Mad Head games CE versions and seeing all the extras with Hidden Doorways, I think I will take advantage of this sale.

I'm so not amused.  I just started the 5th chapter of Fame Fatale and ran into a glitch in one of the hidden object scenes.  The only way around it is to delete your profile or start a new game under another game and to NOT play the M3 option for that scene. 

Not amused to be starting over.  Intend to send in a complaint.  According to forum, Eipix claims that they sent update to fix problem.  That was over a year ago. So why hasn't it been updated?  I only downloaded the game this weekend.

I'd been hoping for a BOGOF     so I could get :

Phantasmat: Reign of Shadows CE
Maze: The Broken Tower CE

I'd demoed Reign of Shadows last week and couldn't wait to get it and play it!  
And I was so happy when I saw the BOGOF yesterday, hoping for a BP day today!  
And there was, there was!  

So I demoed The Broken Tower.  
And I don't think I've been so disappointed in my life!  
I think I managed maybe 20 mins and then I simply couldn't take any more.  

This is what I wrote down after playing a bit of the demo:

Recommendation:   Unfortunately, NO!  Not even the SE!

  -  double-click touch means I have to use the mouse
  -  and you can't turn off the contextual pointers
  -  so really bad having to use the mouse as you can't avoid the cursor changes
  -  plus items are indicated (although not when they're active)
  -  the BBTs give way TMI - you're hand held

  -  I loved the gameplay
  -  I loved the dark, creepy atmosphere
  -  I really liked the first HOP, although it wasn't very original
  -  MGs were OK but not very challenging
 
Even though I loved the gameplay and the creepy, suspenseful atmosphere, I didn't last very long in the demo as I hated having to use the mouse with all the contextual pointer changes and the BBTs giving way TMI, so not even the SE.

I'll wait for GH to release the PE and see if I can stand playing it then.

So, no Phantasmat for me, either. 

I have a freebie CSCC that I could use but I read that the bonus game is really short so I'll keep it there for the next BOGOF, or until there's more info re the bonus chapter. 

It's the usual Eipix fare.  However, this time they've added their M3 HOP alternative in Extras and I love their concept art!  Normally theirs is really boring but this time you can scroll backwards and forwards across the screen to see the before and after, which is something I always find really interesting and I've only come across it in a couple of other games.  I just wish there were more than 4...

And the art also includes 4 characters with a lot of background info!  That's great and really interesting but why only 4?  Are there only 4 characters in the game?

There are also 21 morphing objects in the scenes, which are diary pages.  I'm not sure what's in the diary pages but I assume it's background info, or something like that (?).  And they're not so easy to spot.

And, unlike The Broken Tower, Reign of Shadows has Eipix's usual gameplay:  it supports touch, you can turn off all contextual pointers, you can turn off BBTs (but, as usual, you get Eipix's stupid comments instead, like "What can I do here?", and plus items aren't indicated when they're active (but the plus items are still shown - grrrr).

I want to get Reign of Shadows!  

But I'm not going to just pick any other game so I can get Reign of  Shadows in the BOGOF. 

After all, it's not like I don't have any other games that are waiting to be played!
