stusue - thanks for posting what CE's are expected to be released this week.
I haven't tried or bought any of the Mystery Tales games. Are they stand alone, or do you need to play them in order?

Tirama, no problemo!
Thank YOU for posting all the sales as I often refer to that list the day after a sale!
I'm pretty sure all the Mystery Tales are stand alone games. I own all of them (3 CEs, 1 SE) but I've only played the last one (but possibly also the first one?). However, I just checked them all out at BFG and each one has different characters and is in totally different places, so I assume you don't have to play them in order.

Hi, Tirama
You just seem to be zipping through so many games and so many series!
I feel like Alice in Through the Looking Glass when the Red Queen tells her "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"
I think the problem is that I didn't buy or finish many games in 2014 or 2015 and it's going to take me quite a while to catch up.
I did finish Haunted Hotel: Eternity Collector's Edition.
Then I'd better start running! I'm never gonna catch up!

Epistory eventually came up with a proper screen for me but it was so slow like that ABC Murders was. I now know it's because there's not enough memory allocated to my virtual windows but I'm not allocating more as then my Mac is slow!
ETA: Stusue, probably as well about Epistory because if it involves typing I only have one hand to type with as 90% of the time Snoozle is in my other arm!Hi, Fudge
You've still got 10% of the time to play it!
I've just sent GH an email, asking if 2 credits is correct for Epistory - Typing Chronicles as it isn't a PE. Fingers crossed it's only an SE and 1 credit and then I'll get it half price. Otherwise I'll wait and see what BFG releases it as. I can't see them releasing it as anything other than an SE.
How's it going, Fudge?
I heard back from GH and Epistory is definitely 2 credits. It's only an SE but I was told that the price is worked out between GH and the developers and it isn't always that an SE is only 1 credit.
However, "As a gesture of goodwill", Patrick added a credit to my account so I could get it with my 1 credit! How cool was that?
Of course, I immediately got it and then replied and thanked Patrick. He said that a colleague had recommended the game to him and so he was going to try it tonight.
And I also got another Reward Code as I had 1 punch and so, with the 3 I got for Epistory, I've got another RC so I can get another PE! Gotta love the GH reward system where you only need 4 punches for a PCC that you can use for both SEs and CEs!

Hi Stusue
The MCF: Fate's Carnival has been keeping me SO busy for 2 days solid! And lots left of the game yet! But I haven't been feeling so good so taking it slowly.
That's just GREAT of GH Patrick sounds like wonderful!

I've finished 4 chapters of Haunted Hotel: Phoenix Collector's Edition and I have to admit the series has me just a bit confused.
I know when Elephant Games took it over, they introduced new characters (my friend James) and their installments had nothing to do with the previous games.
The first 3 (Eclipse, Ancient Bane, and Death Sentence) appeared to be set in the later years of Queen Victoria's reign. James had longish hair, and I got the distinct impression that the character I played was female, which made me chuckle because James was always asking me to meet him at some hotel. Quite improper!
In Eternity, James has disappeared, and the time period is the late 1970's! The character I'm playing is definitely male. The game has inserted my name into the story so I'm playing as a Boy Named Sue!
James reappears in Phoenix. Long hair is gone, he's now the stereotypical private eye, complete with trench coat and fedora. But Brad Ziffer is still providing the voice-over for James.
I wonder why the time period change in this series. And why all the references to Mystery Trackers?

Fudge, I'm so sorry you're not well! I hope it isn't anything serious!
I've had the plumber and the electrician here this week, as well as trying to get all the washing done as Thursday will be our last warmish sunny day ... autumn will finally get here on Friday. So I haven't had time to play much.
But I have managed to play quite a bit of Bubble Zoo 2, a snake M3 game, where bubbles follow tracks around like snakes and you have to make match 3 matches and get rid of all the bubbles before it gets to the end. GH released it today. It looks like a kid's game but I gave up trying to get 3 stars on every level and was happy just to get one! I've replayed and replayed and replayed the level I'm stuck on now, trying to just get 1 star, but I finally gave up and will try again tomorrow. I think I'll have to investigate the powerups I have and work out how they actually work.
I've also been playing The Blacklist: Conspiracy, a Windows freebie app (as long as you have the patience to play several HOSs, maybe manage to do one puzzle and perhaps make a moral choice, before running out of energy and having to wait hours for it to replenish. But that's fine when I'm busy as I just fit it in between everything else and all the other games I'm playing. But I tell you what, I've never seen characters taken from a TV series, or movie, or whatever, that look exactly like the characters on the show! And all my moral choices are in the minority so far. Each moral choice is whether to tell someone who works with Red or the group that Keen works for and each time you make a choice you're told what % of other players made the same choice. So far each of my choices has been below 50% but I won't tell you which side I've been choosing. It's okay to play for a few mins every now and again but I'd never pay any money for it.
I've also been playing Buried in Time, a real old quest strategy game that I got yesterday to fill my card. It's one of those mindless games that seem really boring but that you can't stop playing. Perfect when you're watching TV or reading or Internet surfing or playing a game on your Kindle Fire ... all of which I was doing at the same time last night!

Sorry, Tirama, but I've only played one Haunted Hotel game.
So I have no idea about continuity ... or lack thereof!
Or about any references to Mystery Trackers.
Did you have the song running through your head while you were playing Eternity?

No. When I went grocery shopping, "If You Leave" (from the movie Pretty in Pink ) was playing and it moved into my brain and hasn't moved out yet. Could be worse. While watching season 4 of Elementary, there was a snippet of Rebecca Black's "Friday" played. Glad that didn't take up residence.
I finished Haunted Hotel: Phoenix Collector's Edition. That makes 10 games for me this month, 6 of them CE's, the other 4 nonograms. Going to go for 5 and play Halloween Riddles: Mysterious Griddlers next.

Thanks Stusue, Nothing serious, just under the weather.
But I did finally finish Mystery Case Files: Fate’s Carnival PE. Well, what a game and a half! If I'd bought it then I would have certainly got my money's worth. Took me 3 days. Those super puzzle things took me hours! I loved every minute of it.
