Have you yet tried Bridge to Another World: Alice in Shadowland?  That is the game I am playing now.  It has morphs and playing card collectibles.  I am playing the medium level so I don't know if the hardest mode does have the bbt and other stuff you don't like in them.  There is also a custom mode too.  I find the game charming... a different take on Alice in Wonderland.

  I am also playing Delaware St. John: The Seacliff Tragedy.  The story I would give a B, the navigation I give a D-.  Some spots I am just going around in circles  (the sewer maze was a nightmare) and so many times lost and I usually have a good sense of direction.

I actually already have Alice in Shadowland.  My problem is that I have all the CEs that I think are worth it so there isn't a CE that I want to use the coupon on and I don't want to waste it.  Hence I was hoping to find out if there's a CE being released this week that I could use it on.  Then I'd get 2 SEs with CSCCs today to finish my card. 

Alternatively, if I don't want either of the CEs being released this week, then I'd use the coupon today and get one of the CEs that almost made the cut but that was rejected for whatever reason.

Oh well, I'll keep on playing the betas and hope they change the post sometime before I go to bed.

So far I have 3 games on the GET list, as long as the final version has all the usual extras that I expect ...

Dark Realm: Lord of the Winds CE  by Mad Head Games  
  -  I didn't want to stop playing this one and don't want to have to wait to play it!
  -  so much creativity and novel ideas in everything - HOPs, MGs, adventure play!

Hidden Expedition: The Eternal Emperor CE  by Eipix  
  -  I loved the last one and this one looks just as good
  -  plus, I have a degree in Archaeology and I've studied the Qin Emperor's tomb that's in this game!

Mystery Tales: Eye of the Fire CE  by Domini Games  
  -  loved it!
  -  so much to do in each scene with Easy/Hard choice for all MGs!
  -  a lot of negative things (like too much help) but I can ignore those as it's so good

Then the not so good ...  

Amaranthine Voyage: Legacy of the Guardians CE  by Eipix 
  -  I was bored to tears  (see the little smiley faces?)
  -  so little to do in each scene and SO much talking that it was really, really slow
  -  you hardly do anything, just listen to/read what everyone's telling you
  -  and back and forth, back and forth whilst hardly doing anything!
  -  hated all the stupid BBT comments
  -  which is a real pity as the HOPs and especially the MGs were challenging!

How can 2 games being released at the same time by the same developer  -  Eipix  -  be so totally different?  

One's a snooze fest    and the other one's brilliant!  

Just goes to show how 2 different teams in the same company can produce work of such different quality.  Same with ERS - I love some of their series but not so much others.  And Amaranthine Voyage used to be one of my fav series.

Looks like it's gonna be Hidden Expedition: The Eternal Emperor CE for me with my coupon!  

I actually got the beta to survey Ominous Obsession ages ago but I can't remember much about it.  I haven't played that beta again today but I really liked the last one (can't remember how much, though) but, knowing that I can get The Eternal Emperor this week, Ominous Obsession can wait to be demoed. 

Incredible Dracula: The Last Call CE is a TM so I imagine that will be released tomorrow, as usual for the non-HOPA CEs released lately.  GH released it 2 weeks ago but I haven't played it yet, although I got the first one from GH.

Now ... which 2 SEs will I get today to finish my card with the extra punches ...

Clear It. Finished. That's all I have to say...
Grim Legends -The Dark City CE. Rather fun. Not fantastic, but I liked the graphics.
League of Light-The Gatherer CE. Very good! And the little scarecrow is soo cute 
Vengeance- Lost Love. OK. Rather fun (but now I don't remember it, I just read my comments about it...)
Darkness and Flame- Born of Fire CE. Loved it!!!      Five-BN Games have sailed up to one of my favorite devs!
Doodle God Griddlers. Rather fun.
Enigmatis- The Shadow of Karkala CE. Rather disappointed. Regret buying it...
Living Legends- Wrath of the Beast CE (or PE ). I liked it very much. Fun puzzles!  I didn't like it when I demoed it on BF, but apparantly I've changed my mind 


We have just got home from our usual week (this time 10 days) in Puerto de Mogàn ( Gran Canaria) and it was lovley!

stusue - when I last posted in this thread, it was around noon!  So, no I shouldn't have been .

Though I have been taken some naps during the day.  I've had an allergic reaction to some insect bites and have been rather tired the past couple of days.

I finished MC's Castle Challenge and earned all 3 avatars in both my games, so now I'm ready to start playing my HOPAs again.  This month I want to get caught up with the Phantasmat and Sable Maze series.
