Actually, I love Win10! I have it on everything except the one old PC with Win7 that I keep around solely to play any old games that won't play on Win10, and my Android tablet.
But everything except that old PC and my old Netbook have a touch screen and Win10 is fantastic on that. And, now that I use touch screens, I hate playing any game that doesn't support touch ... I'm looking at you ERS, Mariaglorum and Blam!
I have to really love a game to get it, especially as a CE, if it doesn't support touch. One case in point was the latest Redemption Cemetery game, which I absolutely adored, even though I hate the way ERS games play on a touch screen - you can only use touch moving around and you have to click twice every single time. Every time you zoom in or have to use an inventory item you have to use the mouse. And, given that ERS games don't give you the choice to turn off cursor changes, being forced to use a mouse means that you always get the cursor hand and magnifying glass, which I hate. But boy was that game worth putting up with that! And at least you can turn off BBTs in ERS games.

Yep, it was only ever free for a limited time (I think a year), after which you'll have to pay to upgrade.

Did it update to Windows 10 by itself even after you told it not to, oscar? Can't you roll it back?

I'm so lucky to live in Serbia, and don't have the win-10 problem...
And "WTF" is happened in America with racism?!

mila -- I can't imagine that you won't, eventually, have to deal with Win 10. Microsoft wants to only have to support one OS. That will, eventually, be Win 10. I use Google as my browser and it no longer supports Windows Vista (my current OS).
Unfortunately racism has always been present in America. Right now we're just seeing some really ugly examples of it. It was much easier to pretend that we didn't have a problem before the Internet and cell phone videos.

Not to worry stusue, it would have been a virtual murder! Fortunately all is ticking along today. Knock on wood.
Yes I had to Fudge. I could no longer update anything on my computer. No updates, no security, no graphics updates nothing. They seemed to have me over a barrel.
mila - I am Canadian. Not to say there's not racism here but the current events happening are quite shocking all over the world. I do think the States have a gun problem though. jmo. The gun laws are quite strict here.

The USA DOES have a gun problem oscar. It's not just your opinion.

A couple of days ago, I got a Win10 pop-up reminding me that time was running out to upgrade for free. I hit the decline button, and it then asked me if I was sure. Yeah, I'm sure. Since then, no more reminders, but I'm still not going back to auto-updates until at least a month after July 29, just in case the offer is extended 'by popular demand'.
