I was excited about this sale when I saw that it was 50% but then saw it was off retail. This is a sucky sale. Was hoping for better on Labor Day weekend. Definitely not buying anything now. Have a PCC I need to use that I will on Monday but that is it.

Well, BFG is definately saving me money by giving us this crappy sale this weekend. I do have to buy two games to fill my punchcard, but I have plenty of PCC's for that. Oh well...
I haven't played any games all week, choosing to spend my evenings reading again. I guess I've just needed a break. But I'm going to play one today. The Heritage and Buried in Time are next on my list. Hope Buried in Time is like Artist's Colony (same maker), which I really enjoyed.

I finished AWAKENING: THE GOBLIN CASTLE and was enchanted. Not so much with the second in the series. I just started DISCOVERY: A SEEK AND FIND ADVENTURE and find it quite tedious. I'll play a bit more (finished the 1st site) but this might be one I end up Dexing.
Oops! Wrong series. It was the 2nd LOVE CHRONICLES that I wadn't that thrilled withs

Wanted to let you know that I emailed puzz with the details of this forum... 
Someone mentioned there are 3 farms on Farmscapes? I am only on the first farm yet I feel like I have been playing this game for ages!! How do you get to the other farms? Do you have to purchase them? Or does it just progress as the game goes on and I'll figure it out? xx

Meg, it's been awhile, but I believe you have to finish the game, then you have the option of continuing to the next farm. No, you don't have to purchase it.
By the way, congrats on getting your ring, though you didn't need one to be engaged. But it gives you something to look at while you dream.

I confess, I caved and bought Nearwood. Intended to use 2 gcc's, but wasn't given the option, so I gave in and bought it for 4 lousy dollars off to fill my card. Also got The Snow, for the last punch. I really like it.

Hi, all. Congrats on the ring, Meg. I like simple but elegant, too.
I wish they would just advertise these as $4.99/$9.99 sales without all that 50% off ballyhoo. I was hoping for 1/2 price GCCs to appease the disgruntled but I have no money so just as well. I don't like the new BFG at all, there's no real reason to be there except a quick glance. I'm don't even look daily anymore.
Still playing Puzzle Quest 2 but starting to get bored. It's easier than the first one, and I can wipe out even the hardest opponent easily so what's the point?
No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

I finished Awakening: The Sunhook Spire Collector's Edition but a lot of the joy was sucked out of the game for me because I had to start over. I liked the glasworks puzzles in the bonus material. Reminded me of Patchworkz. Also tried the tourney mode of Cradle of Egypt. Got 2 selver and 2 bronze medals before quitting. Game is now in my done folder. Going to play Order of the Rose next.

Meg - you have to finish the first farm before you have access to the other two. You'll play the same boards again, but won't have to do the adventure parts. You can alternate between Famrs 2 and 3 if you want, but that messed up getting an achievement I earned.
For those waiting for the next BOGO, if BF continues the pattern, it should be here in 2 weeks. Projecting the pattern into October gives up the BOGO on Columbus Day weekend. Will they change the pattern in order to give us something to grouse about over the next long weekend?

Wow Tirama! I don't think I've ever finished as many games as I bought!
I need some help please. I'm playing 9 CLUES: THE SECRET OF SERPENT CREEK. I'm stuck with 6/7 gears. I looked in the Game Forum -- no help. No walkthrough. My cursor doesn't change to a hand anywhere. I can't advance until I find the 7th gear.
ETA: Found the gear!
