I just finished Nevertales: The Beauty Within. It took me over 10 hours to finish main game, bonus, 3 hidden chapters and the little extras that were included. It was a game that kept on giving. Still wasn't able to do the 3 stars in the HOP scenes. I figured one star was for time and 2nd star was for no misclicks, but what was the 3rd star for.
Instead of doing the sensible thing and finishing a game I already started, I started another game. The Agency of Anomalies: Mystic Hospital. I thought it seemed to be Green Hills Sanitarium like and so I read some of the other players comments and saw that they mentioned that too.

This morning I finished Voodoo Chronicles: The First Sign PE. I really enjoyed it, it's by the same makes as Apothecarium and Sisters Secrecy.
Then I finished Voodoo Whisperer: Curse of a Legend. I didn't enjoy it as much, mainly because it ends on a cliffhanger and says To Be Continued but apparently it's not going to be continued!
Sun, I have the SE of Nevertales: The Beauty Within, which I got from BF when I was playing there, but I haven't played it yet. Not sure the SE will have the achievements. I just read the BF forum for the game though and it seems the 3 star HOS aren't registering for anyone!

Yesterday I finished Anabel by Jet Dogs Studios and enjoyed it. So, I went looking for more games by them that I hadn't played and found Dracula's Legacy. Pleased I did because I really enjoyed it. I finished that this morning and then finished Love Alchemy: A Heart in Winter. I think GH only has it for Mac but it's pretty good.

I have finished:
Vampire Legends-The Count of New Orleans CE. Disappointed... Stuck in the end of the Bonus game. Can´t finish.I tried to restart but the thing I should pick up is frozen. And not so fun as I thought when I demoed it.
The Far Kingdoms- Magic Mosaics.OK. Too easy and very short.
Off the Record-The Final Interview CE.Very good! As always nice graphics. The Collectibles, teapots and letters, were well hidden in the main game.Got all the Achievements. One minus: Couldn't play the super HOP after finding all the teapots. I read in the forum that I was not the only one...
Living Legends- Bound by Wishes CE. The story was meh but I loved the Puzzles and HOS. Just the right difficulty for me.
Tales of Terror- Estate of The Heart Ce. Regret buying
I remember when I played The Beauty Within I compared it with a matryoshka doll. There was always something new. I loved it. I don't remember about the 3 stars problem, I probably repressed it
I also liked Voodoo Chronicles and Dracula's Legacy. I couldn't play Anabel due to motion sickness...

Looks like BF will be offering 3 new CE's this week. TGT is Fabulous: Angela's Fashion Fever Collector's Edition and it's on sale for 7.99 Code: FEVER. No indication on the website just how long sale runs.
I finished Hidden Expedition: Smithsonian Castle Collector's Edition. This one involves time traveling. I liked it better than Crown of Solomon. Finished two chapters of Hidden Expedition: Dawn of Prosperity Collector's Edition. The story takes place in Montana.
I'm glad I decided to work on the Hidden Expedition series. The next one is due to be released the beginning of June. Midnight Calling: Jeronimo is also supposed to be released in June. Hoping one of these games has a Super Sale attached to its release.

Anki, I closed my eye playing Anabel when I had to move locations!!!!
I finished 1001 Nights: The Adventures of Sinbad. It was OK, things were hard to fin though.
Then I finished Questerium: Sinister Trinity PE which I thought was an excellent game. Lots of really good puzzles in it so it was right up my street.

I am so far behind on Hidden Expedition series. I think my last one was Devil's Triangle.
I really like The Agency of Anomalies: Mystic Hospital. It is a abandoned hospital setting with grim, but clear graphics(which for some strange reason are one of my favorite type of games) for example F.A.C.E.S., Abandoned: Chestnut Lodge Asylum, Nightfall Mysteries: Asylum Conspiracy, Twisted Lands: Insomniac etc. Weird.
Seeing The Hookman & The Babysitter coming up as DDs makes me want to do the series again. Come to think of it the Babysitter had a abandoned hospital setting to it.

That's the only one I've played prior to Eipix taking over the series. Didn't like it much, and the one after that was the first CE beta I ever received. I was so excited until I tried to play it. Selecting widescreen shrunk my screen to a two-inch wide strip down the left side. Same thing happened when the game was released. They never fixed whatever the problem was and the sound was all wonky on my pc as well. No sale.
I like the direction Eipix has taken the series. In the one I'm playing, there's a hidden object scene depicting a Rube Goldberg contraption. Instead of a list of things to find, you have a list of things to put back into the scene. When you've finished the list, it activates the contraption and that's how you are awarded the inventory item. Very clever.

That sounds good Tirama. I like games with Rube Goldberg type puzzles in them. HO scene sounds very different. I have it and I'll look forward to playing it.
I gave examples of games that I like. What I don't like is games that start off interesting and turn demon on you. Just can't have a regular bad guy, but no it has to turn supernatural or you have hooded guys with red glowing eyes. I am tired of those types. There was a run of them a few years back and I even bought some.
What about you all. What kinds do you like and what kinds you don't like?

I finished Ashley Clark: The Secrets of the Ancient Temple. It was good, much better than the Rubies one.
Then I finished Bathory: The Bloody Countess. I played it for about 1/2 hour and was going to exit and uninstall it but I thought I'd give it 10 more minutes and I'm pleased I did as I enjoyed it in the end.
I get tired of those red glowing eyes too, Sunshine! I can ignore most things though as long as they have good puzzles in the game. I love those with Rube type HO in them too, they are a lot of fun.
